Bunny's Beer Basement (BEER)

stockbunny - 30 Dec 2008 08:02

OK temporary accomodation for us ex-pats of Spacie's coffee house that is sadly now boarded up and in memory of Goldie's old pad the tearooms.

No fancy stuff, as this is temporary until we find a nice new place but it's warm down here with the fire and aga and I've organised a daily guinness, lager and wine delivery. There is a small kitchen in the corner and a few comfy cosy armchairs.

So feel free to take refuge when you need a break - self-service generally I'm afraid but when I can I'll rustle up a meal :>)

I always chat to people on their own, male or female unless they look a bit stand-offish but then as a bunny I am a pretty non-threatening weird oddment! ;>)

Number one son home again from work, seems they have decided to work from home for the rest of the day as the industrial park is becoming too much like a toboggan run!

robertalexander - 02 Feb 2009 16:23 - 449 of 4886

just witnessed the troops keeping up morale by having a massive snow fight in their break. good to see grown men and women haven't lost their sense of humour. i sensibly watched from the warmth and refereed to make sure no-one got hurt.
Could i get some soup please as it was cold work watching the 'kids' play.

kimoldfield - 03 Feb 2009 08:00 - 458 of 4886

Morning all, porridge and coffee, a good way to start the day.

My wife didn't seem impressed when I said "it's three inches" this morning. Can't think why :o)

kimoldfield - 03 Feb 2009 08:01 - 459 of 4886

Oooh, a hobnob in my porridge! Yes please!

jeffmack - 03 Feb 2009 08:04 - 460 of 4886

Kim
I thought she would have been excited!

kimoldfield - 03 Feb 2009 08:17 - 461 of 4886

Yea, me too Jeff, I just don't understand women sometimes. I've just been rummaging in the garage for the toboggan and when I shouted "shall I get it out?" she said, sarcastically I thought, "well, it just isn't going to be worth it is it?!" Looks enough snow out there to me.
