Cyril, you need to go into the edit function next to your opening posting and then from the charts page, you need to click on the 'paste chart to bulletin board' link in the bottom left hand corner. Copy the long, black text http link & paste it on to your open page which you are editing. Don't copy a blue link. (I know they were having problems with this function last week, so may be it's down again).

niceonecyril - 09 Mar 2008 13:10 - 448 of 896

Harry i 'm ok up to clicking on paste chart, then i get lost. I can't see a link to paste so i've tried manually typing in the chain symbol above(is this what you mean by blue link?) to no avail, also tried typing straight into the post box and that
just does not transfer and gives me a little box with a red cross.

cyril.... do you know how to paste a chart? ..... actually v simple .... go to chart and click paste thread - i.e. highlight and press control c .... go to your own thread and insert .... not exactly step by step but close to it

HARRYCAT - 09 Mar 2008 14:34 - 450 of 896

Or, once you have clicked 'Paste Chart' you should then see a long, black text link somewhere on the screen. Drag your cursor backwards along this link (left click mouse & hold down), thus highlighting it (you should then see white text on black background). Right click & select 'copy'. Then paste the text on to your original IEC opening post.
Check the 'BUGS' board & post #33 + 34, page 2.

HARRYCAT - 09 Mar 2008 19:06 - 453 of 896

Nice one cyril. Bet you were expecting a relaxing sunday!

Cynic, are you shorting this as a hedge against your equity holding?

cynic - 09 Mar 2008 22:01 - 454 of 896

no

cynic - 10 Mar 2008 09:33 - 455 of 896

bit rock and hard place syndrome ..... chart is now pretty horrid and being sold off, along with the rest of the market, but not a good policy to sell into a weak market if at all pos.

Sold out earlier, in the nick of time and bought PFC....

niceonecyril - 10 Mar 2008 10:27 - 457 of 896

Their was a piece yesterday in the S/times saying that the USA are now in recession, for me that was a pointer and reduced several of my holdings. I think
the DOW performance will be most importent today as if it tanks i can see a sharp
downturn in our market, along with the CFD'S March due and the end of the tax year its a iffy time.
For me IEC the Goldman Sach's report did them no favours,so for me short
term prospects lay in the success of the Kazakhstan well which had oil shows,
due at the end of the month. A positive result would be a real boost as the tax
is a lot more friendly to the likes of IEC,so fingers crossed for investors.
But in the meantime the main question is the support level,so for me i will
look from the outside.

obvious levels appear to be just above (or at) 1200 (200dma) or congeston zone from last year at 1100....

niceonecyril - 10 Mar 2008 18:54 - 460 of 896

Looks like the Deutsche Bank has been accumilating?

Having reread the operations update it appears that news from Kazakhstan is
expected late May(not March).

Its crap really this share business! Not that i sold out yesterday,I hung in there, But all it lost yesterday has returned today. Youve really got to have balls and not panic and look past the big moves in the prices in one go. Sorry to witter on!
Good Luck all out there.

cynic - 11 Mar 2008 17:31 - 462 of 896

blanche - you had of course registered that bounce was from 200 dma, though may struggle to break back through 25 + 50 dma marks

BigTed - 11 Mar 2008 17:34 - 463 of 896

Quite nicely anticipated, me thinks...:) still decided against holding earlier when chance presented itself....

niceonecyril - 11 Mar 2008 19:06 - 464 of 896

Nice to see a turn around today, i wonder if the Deuche Bank buying helped?
Could go a lot higher tomorrow if the Dow is anything to go by, up over 300pts
almost 350 at one point but settling down.
