Bunny's Beer Basement (BEER)

stockbunny - 30 Dec 2008 08:02

OK temporary accomodation for us ex-pats of Spacie's coffee house that is sadly now boarded up and in memory of Goldie's old pad the tearooms.

No fancy stuff, as this is temporary until we find a nice new place but it's warm down here with the fire and aga and I've organised a daily guinness, lager and wine delivery. There is a small kitchen in the corner and a few comfy cosy armchairs.

So feel free to take refuge when you need a break - self-service generally I'm afraid but when I can I'll rustle up a meal :>)

Nice tea towel!

Ah! I get it, my hearing is a bit iffy today; KEAYDIAN meant a clean tea. I'll put it in the washing machine then dry it with this nice new tea towel.

(shoves Kim in with the towel)

I think a long wash should do it!

(tap tap tap on the door)

Ok Kim?

Ooer! I hope he doesn't put it on fast spin!

dreamcatcher - 05 Oct 2011 15:51 - 4479 of 4886

Why was the washing machine laughing? Because it was taking the piss out of the pants.

skinny - 05 Oct 2011 15:56 - 4480 of 4886

Apparently apartheid started when the president of South Africa went to put on a load of washing and found a note stuck to the machine saying:

"Make sure you keep the colours separate from the whites".

kimoldfield - 05 Oct 2011 16:12 - 4481 of 4886

I don't understand why anyone would set their washing machine at 30 degrees.

Surely it would look neater in line with all the other kitchen units.

I've been so busy, I forgot the washing......did anyone else remember?

Oh well might as well leave till the morning, night night.

kimoldfield - 06 Oct 2011 02:11 - 4484 of 4886

(Tap, tap, tap) Helloooooooooo! Anybody there? (Tap, tap, tap)

KEAYDIAN - 06 Oct 2011 09:10 - 4485 of 4886

zzz.....zzz......zzz.....zzz....

kimoldfield - 06 Oct 2011 09:14 - 4486 of 4886

Um, hel......hellooooooooo! (Tap, tap)

skinny - 06 Oct 2011 09:19 - 4487 of 4886

This chap managed it - and he was in chains!

kimoldfield - 06 Oct 2011 09:25 - 4488 of 4886

Well he obviously had the energy to do it. I'm feeling a little washed out.

Socrates - 06 Oct 2011 09:27 - 4489 of 4886

I put my washing on the line, but a train ran over it!

kimoldfield - 06 Oct 2011 09:47 - 4490 of 4886

Not too chuffed about that I'll bet?!

KEAYDIAN - 06 Oct 2011 10:43 - 4491 of 4886

(yawn....stretch)

Oh the washing......Probably bit damp smelly now, might as well stick it on another wash.

(Click)

There we go.

kimoldfield - 06 Oct 2011 11:06 - 4492 of 4886

This is persilcution! I'll bet no man has been washed twice in a washing machine before, it is a whole new frontier; to boldly go where no man has gone before. I'm getting dazzled by the whites. Will I get any comfort from all this?

skinny - 06 Oct 2011 11:11 - 4493 of 4886

I know its of no COMFORT and you are probably in a DAZ - just be BOLD and don't be a FAIRY - try a bit of SURFing!

kimoldfield - 06 Oct 2011 11:30 - 4494 of 4886

I'd rather be out of here and doing some Aerial stuff!
