AHT is my largest holding in the real world so I hope and expect that shorting it in the game will bankrupt you in the game!

Mighty quiet in here today - Are we all out picking daffs??
Nice vase full GD on the counter, very nice touch, brightens
the place up for us ladies...

Haven't you lot eaten all that pheasant yet?
Or has Socs been out daily with his gun re-stocking the stuff?

As the Scots have vindicated their salmon as non-glow-in-the-dark
I vote for a change to something salmony...
Salmon Moose....
(And don't say does it run or swim!!!..Yes I felt that joke was brewing!!)

Salmon cooked in a parcel with new tatties and asparagus...
(Yes the brown paper will be removed prior to serving)

Smoked salmon with spinach and cottage cheese...
(sounds disgusting I know but it's absolutely yummy!!)

Salmon with lemon and garlic butter and salad....
(sometimes simple is best, or at least that's what I am told...)

Salmon en Croute...
(En croute it says..no Bazil Fawlty jokes re the germans episode please..)

Salmon and Seafood filo parcels...
(filo without the fax...)

OK if needs be salmon sandwiches I'm not fussy!
(Yes the jokes will stop now, you've suffered enough!!!!)

Good evening one and all. A blueish day today with PTG gaining 0.5p so far. Jeffmack must be ecstatic.

stockbunny
What's with all this fishy stuff? Lets get some good red meat in, a nice rib eye steak will do fine.

stockbunny - 01 Mar 2004 17:03 - 4492 of 23498

Yuck bring on the fishy stuff!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hello Sockies..how are you?? Good day??

jeffmack - 01 Mar 2004 17:13 - 4493 of 23498

Socs
What you doing home so early, how will the world of aerospace servive without you.

Bunny
The Cafe is a fish free zone, I hate the stuff

stockbunny - 01 Mar 2004 18:00 - 4495 of 23498

Evening all be it briefly JeffMack - it's ok you
don't have to love fish, they understand and love you anyway!!
I'm outta here - in the non-vitual world I'm cooking a curry
and the rice needs putting on!
Have a great evening guys and gals, see you maybe tomorrow!!

Socrates - 01 Mar 2004 18:14 - 4496 of 23498

Jeffmack
Early, I finish at 16:00 so normally home by 16:20 or so. As for the world of aerospace, it managed before I was around and it will manage after I retire (if I can afford to with the Blairites in power).

It's hard to get out of the wiggy habit. I still think of Planestation as wiggy, that said it is doing nicely just now. I am trying to pluck up courage to buy some warrants.

Thanks for your comment on TBI, took a bite last week and wanted to go in stronger on this potential T/O stuff. Just got home and note that the T/O spec is rising again. Will watch it closely could be a good turn here.

I subscribe to the principle of "never buy for the takeover" because many of them never happen. If an investment does not stand on it's own merits I now leave well alone. If a takeover happens that's a bonus, but I've seen so much T/O speculation where nothing transpires and the price has then drifted off that I now ignore it. Oddly the only two shares I've held where takeovers occured were both out of the blue and in fact unwelcome. Perhaps I've been unlucky.

jeffmack - 01 Mar 2004 20:23 - 4499 of 23498

lucky in love eh socs

Socrates - 01 Mar 2004 20:31 - 4500 of 23498

That's probably it Jeff, c**p at cards too.

optomistic - 01 Mar 2004 20:58 - 4501 of 23498

Thanks socs, sound comments you make,I will give it a while as I think TBI is a reasonable stock to hold 'on Merits'
Had enough tea now, going to try a Stella.

This_is_me - 01 Mar 2004 21:00 - 4502 of 23498

I see stockpotbunny is trying to put everyone off ordering the rabbit pie again.

Salmon should be cooked on its own in a frying pan so that one can taste the salmon, not garlic etc. (except the tasteless farmed, glow in the dark, cooks itself by nuclear radiation and toxic chemicals, stuff)
