Ps, again I forgot to mention as anyone looked again at the US slides presentation (sola site) page 12, it is still showing the company making a loss.
I for one am completley puzzled by this, is this company making a profit or making a loss?,
Some of them over the road thought it was a mistake and e-mailed the CEO last thursday, nothing as happened, just what is right or wrong?.
Totaly confused.

merrill lynch buy note...the price went to 510p on its publication. its gone up 620% since its flotation since august..what are you blathering on about?
ML is a respected investment company. Goldfinger's analysis pales into insignificance in comparison. Infact this site is as shite as it comes. No analysis just hot air.
what a waste of my time even posting on here

F18 ... SO DON'T!
To others ..... imo, the share is almost certainly still badly overbought ..... though ML put out their buy note with the well-publicised target of 8.00, it was something of a reality check when i tried to sell just 5000 @ 478 last thursday(?) evening, when i was hard pressed to find any MM to take them ...... ML did not want to know! ..... in the end i had to accept 472, and am very glad i did, though i shall no doubt re-enter in due course

Strange, cynic. I use Selftrade & have had no problems buying or selling SOLA stock online.

Harry .... it may well have been that just that particular evening, following a couple of days of very hectic trading - i.e. MMs had filled their books in the expectation of plenty of buyers who ultimately did not materialise; hence sharp dip ....... actually have just bought back some!

In fairness GF the person who wrote that above has more of a vested interest than Merills so is likely to have a less bias view ... don't think so !
Evil has written plenty of bullsh*t himself over the years as I have pointed out to him on a number of occasions and is not immune from getting his fingers burnt.

Goldfinger your post 429 what a strange coincidence-this extract from the tip sheet in which Mr Cawkwell has a considerable interest-was posted on the other site by a poster called hedghunter. It was also highlighted by a guy with the somewhat whimsical title Tarquin Smith Smythe who somehow contrived to post it 3 times in the early hours of the morning .

If youre referring to me dil my position is unequivocal I have about 5000 shares paid for and in profit in sola so am relatively immune from shorters attacks.I will continue to trade it as and when appropriate.I have no issue with shorters but do have a problem with concerted attacks on stocks -ie ukc, aasc and nlr.

no more handbags please ...... EK has made lots of mistakes for sure, but has also got plenty right ....... whether or not you agree with him on SOLA, or even just view sp as badly overbought, is entirely subjective

Sorry Dil, obvious on rereading-just paranoid about multiple posters.

But hang on a minute, if he is Hedgehunter, then he has openly stated that he has no position in SOLA, and only wishes to keep investors warned of the pitfalls and weaknesses in the companys claims. Surely you don't suggest he is a secret shorter.??????

GF is hedgehunter and whether he's shorting or not is up to him.

Cynic (or anyone else)- the chart is no help at all here??? Or can you see a trend?
Bid 445 - Offer 452

you're right Harry ..... chart is totally meaningless; you just have to trade this share on gut instinct and perhaps watching the trend ...... e.g. 09:46 yesterday i thought the share o'bought and likley to consolidate at best, yet by midday i had decided that trend was resuming upwards and bought back in!

" I just love borrowing Kitos stock to get a nice return. " This from a man ( GF ) who denies he is shorting SOLA, and maintains he is absolutely neutral. I hope he is getting well shafted today.

So the question now is: "How realistic is a 8 target?"
With virtually no past graph to guide us, the greed/hope factor is ruling this.
