Unfortunetly I can't earn enough trading to live off it - so have to work occassionally to pay the bills................... and then off course the silly little domestic chores need to be done from time to time, and I pretend to have a life outside the market :-).............

Actually it will be interesting to see if the 'in the know' horse punters can out perform the 'pick a nice named horse' punters. Idea is still in early thought stages so we shall see what comes up!! (no not that!)

Could you please do an idiot's guide to the jargon for those of us who might be more clueless than you might have imagined? Umm definately worried about you, don't you realise thats why the little man who sits on the back has a stick, he keeps tapping the horse on its bottom to tell it which way to go.

Similar to a donkey like they have on Blackpool beach in the summer but they have longer legs

Opto; Thanks, I thought is was something you put your money on the back of and never saw it again. So its something in Blackpool,you sit on for pleasure, has long legs and it gives you a ride. When is GD having his tearooms opening in Blackpool?:-)

What's all this about donkeys? I'll play GD, don't know
much about betting on the horses apart from a bit of info. which I
understand is now obsolete - that was you always pay the tax when you
place the bet, as if you win anything you loose less that way to the
taxman...but that's all changed now I understand..
Apart from that...Each way? Don't you get a payout if it comes
in the first 3 or 4 on that one??
