Even I know that is plain nonsense. They wouldn't be able to see where they are going.

optomistic - 05 Mar 2004 13:36 - 4581 of 23498

vasey
Umm definately worried about you, don't you realise thats why the little man who sits on the back has a stick, he keeps tapping the horse on its bottom to tell it which way to go.
Join me in some refreshment and we will have a talk about this, what would you like?

Bullshare - 05 Mar 2004 14:01 - 4582 of 23498

Whats a horse?

optomistic - 05 Mar 2004 14:05 - 4583 of 23498

Bullshare
Similar to a donkey like they have on Blackpool beach in the summer but they have longer legs

Bullshare - 05 Mar 2004 14:12 - 4584 of 23498

Opto; Thanks, I thought is was something you put your money on the back of and never saw it again. So its something in Blackpool, you sit on for pleasure, has long legs and it gives you a ride. When is GD having his tearooms opening in Blackpool?:-)

stockbunny - 05 Mar 2004 14:15 - 4585 of 23498

My it's busy in here today, took 20 minutes to get from the door
to the bar!!

What's all this about donkeys? I'll play GD, don't know
much about betting on the horses apart from a bit of info. which I
understand is now obsolete - that was you always pay the tax when you
place the bet, as if you win anything you loose less that way to the
taxman...but that's all changed now I understand..
Apart from that...Each way? Don't you get a payout if it comes
in the first 3 or 4 on that one??

Oh yes a glass of cab sauv' please....

optomistic - 05 Mar 2004 14:29 - 4586 of 23498

Hi stockbunny,
Good to see you in early, get together with Vasey you should do well at racing. Bullshare seems to have got the right idea about it all. Selection of cheeses on the bar for you, do have a nibble when you feel like it.

Golddog - 05 Mar 2004 14:43 - 4587 of 23498

Hello Vasey, I have missed you of late. Dont worry about Horse Betting rules - i will ensure we all have some basic guidelines for everyone to follow before we start.

Bullshare, Blackpool hey! I can see it now.....the flickering lights.....the free flowing booze.....the lap dancers.......the donkey rides........greasy grub........the roller coaster.......the kiss me quick hat! or basically just another day in Mr Ashley J. life! :-)

Bunny, a glass of cab sauv' coming up my sweet bunny.

stockbunny - 05 Mar 2004 14:51 - 4588 of 23498

Oh did notice the cheese Optom. thanks very much! Will leave you
some don't worry! How's the day treating you??

Ah thanks GD and have one yourself..
Oh I never knew there was so much to Blackpool, enough possibly
for me to give it a huge miss I think, but you guys are welcome
to whatever takes your fancy (Blackpool-wise..!!)So when are you
going to organise a day trip then GD?

Golddog - 05 Mar 2004 15:01 - 4589 of 23498

As soon as i have mended the wagonette we can be off.

hilary - 05 Mar 2004 15:05 - 4590 of 23498

Would you like my one of my Wagon Wheels, Poochy?

Golddog - 05 Mar 2004 15:45 - 4591 of 23498

Depends what you want in return i suppose? nudge nudge wink wink.

Yep!
:-)

hilary - 05 Mar 2004 15:48 - 4592 of 23498

Poochy,

I've got to ask ........ Are you into dogging?

:o)

snoball - 05 Mar 2004 15:52 - 4593 of 23498

My, it is busy in here!
I quite like the horse racing idea GD.

stockbunny - 05 Mar 2004 15:53 - 4594 of 23498

Plain or jammy??? hee-hee!!!
Say Hilary..How's about us girlies go off somewhere whilst they
go Blackpooling?

So what do you think?
Paris shopping...
Capri posing...
Barcelona culturing...
New York theatring..
Malaga sunning..
Or some country house expensively dining...
Or maybe something else??

optomistic - 05 Mar 2004 15:55 - 4595 of 23498

stockbunny
Had a good day apart from not making any money i.e. not lost any.
Took a long time to reply but had to go of Mam site and on returning took an age to get through to log in/investors room. I am on Blueyonder (not broadband)
Do you or anyone else on dial up, experience slow moving connections within the Mam site? Sorry to be serious, I'll try not to let it happen again||
opto

stockbunny - 05 Mar 2004 16:00 - 4596 of 23498

Yes ditto OpTom - I refuse to get broadband, too mean I'm afraid, but
connecting can be difficult at times and mine's AOL so it's not
just your server at fault.

Just remember if you're not loosing money it's not been a totally
pointless day or a bad one just a umm-ok day!

BTW anyone know where Little Willie is, haven't seen him post for
a while, no doubt he's off sunning himself with Mrs.LW, but it
is noticable he's not about.

optomistic - 05 Mar 2004 16:09 - 4597 of 23498

stockbunny
Mrs LW is not away she was in earlier, Golddog said that she had her feet in the salad bowl, but didn't say if they large or small though.
Thanks for the info, I'm too tight to get broadand as well, I think it will get more reasonable as competition hots up.

stockbunny - 05 Mar 2004 16:14 - 4598 of 23498

Well we can start the "Too Tight-Fisted For.." club in the
Tea-Rooms then! First on the club hit list is broadband, any further
offerings people??

Giggle...No not Little Woman...Mrs.Little Willie!
But of course he could be sunning himself with Little Woman
you never know!!
