Bunny's Beer Basement (BEER)

stockbunny - 30 Dec 2008 08:02

OK temporary accomodation for us ex-pats of Spacie's coffee house that is sadly now boarded up and in memory of Goldie's old pad the tearooms.

No fancy stuff, as this is temporary until we find a nice new place but it's warm down here with the fire and aga and I've organised a daily guinness, lager and wine delivery. There is a small kitchen in the corner and a few comfy cosy armchairs.

So feel free to take refuge when you need a break - self-service generally I'm afraid but when I can I'll rustle up a meal :>)

Funny, but her-indoors has suddenly gone off the idea of cruise holidays, I've no idea why!

kimoldfield - 16 Jan 2012 09:30 - 4613 of 4886

My mother-in-law indoors had resisted cruises all her life until last year when she suddenly decided she would try a short one to the Norwegian fjords as a surprise for her husband; she enjoyed it so much that they went for a Christmas cruise to the Canaries. Despite encountering the roughest seas the crew had ever experienced my m-i-l thoroughly enjoyed that one too and had started planning the next one. I haven't spoken to her since Friday to see how the planning is going!

A tragic accident that should never have happened. Like all tragic accidents of course.

Why don't people go swimming when it is raining?

jeffmack - 19 Jan 2012 09:54 - 4615 of 4886

too many ducks

kimoldfield - 19 Jan 2012 10:25 - 4616 of 4886

Well, you can't swim when holding an umbrella. I thought that was pretty obvious really. :o)

kimoldfield - 19 Jan 2012 10:57 - 4618 of 4886

What happens when the sun shines? Do they close the pool then as well in case the lifeguards get dazzled?!

dreamcatcher - 19 Jan 2012 11:06 - 4619 of 4886

The pool could over fill and you fall out, with all the rain. They did not say how much.
There could of been a foot that day. I bet you did not think of of that. :-)

dreamcatcher - 19 Jan 2012 11:07 - 4620 of 4886

Or it could make the bottom of the pool slippery .

KEAYDIAN - 19 Jan 2012 11:08 - 4621 of 4886

What's this? The moan thread?

Get the teas on, SHOP!

dreamcatcher - 19 Jan 2012 11:09 - 4622 of 4886

Or could the swimmers get to wet. Can you get to wet?

kimoldfield - 19 Jan 2012 11:12 - 4623 of 4886

Well the tea might be too wet; any volunteers to try it before I pour it all?

kimoldfield - 19 Jan 2012 11:13 - 4624 of 4886

Oh, hang on, where's my umbrella?

dreamcatcher - 19 Jan 2012 11:14 - 4625 of 4886

Sorry - too

kimoldfield - 19 Jan 2012 11:16 - 4626 of 4886
