OK temporary accomodation for us ex-pats of Spacie's coffee house that is sadly now boarded up and in memory of Goldie's old pad the tearooms.

No fancy stuff, as this is temporary until we find a nice new place but it's warm down here with the fire and aga and I've organised a daily guinness, lager and wine delivery. There is a small kitchen in the corner and a few comfy cosy armchairs.

So feel free to take refuge when you need a break - self-service generally I'm afraid but when I can I'll rustle up a meal :>)

Sorry, it's too wet for swimming: Health and safety close outdoor pool because of rain 'risk'

What happens when the sun shines? Do they close the pool then as well in case the lifeguards get dazzled?!

The pool could over fill and you fall out, with all the rain. They did not say how much.
There could of been a foot that day. I bet you did not think of of that. :-)

Or it could make the bottom of the pool slippery .

Wow, I'm amazed, I ask a simple question and get lots of ideas. It's just that I live by the sea and as soon as it starts to rain, everyone comes running out of the sea. Very strange behaviour. Mind you, not many swimming in the oggin at this time of year.

Are they 'oggin the beach instead then?!
