Thought I'd start a football blog, we might keep this going until 2010.....England doing well....did not see the match or even the goals....I'd like Michael owen back in the squad though....and I think Peter Crouch would make a very good substitute...remember against Argentina in Geneva a few years ago....with Michael Owen and some very good movements on and off the ball...they caused havoc.....did see Scotland's missed chance....that could be very costly losing those 2 points !.

Gooners cheating again - manager coming out with yet another defense of this position whilst attempting to take the moral high ground
Typical gooner hypocrosy

RF must disagreeI watched the game and was impressed with the quality and movement of Arsenalthey have one of the best managers in the World.if not the best.If I was to coach young lads starting out I would get them to watch that video over and overany Arsenal player with the ball had multiple optionstheir movement was too much for Celticwho had their momentson the other hand Celtic going forward lost any shape and looked diluted leaving themselves usually with only one optionmaking that option very easy for the opposition to cover.Movementpaceand work ratecan make a team look like they have twice as many players on the pitchArsene Wenger has always coached the same wayDid not like the diveand my only criticism of Wenger is that he hides behind blindness

By the way : watching the riots at West ham was like watching the orgs in the second film of "The Lord of the Rings" when at the end of the film the cavalry arrives to save the day.....just the same....same attitude, mentality, and some of them wouldn't need any make up....just come as you are .....you'll fit the bill.....

RFriots at West Ham or Millwall do not in any way represent the vast majority of those fans.if you were to amass a hundred random youths from anywhere in the country and pen them in a confined area after they had drunk 10 pints of white lighteningyou would not get the Bunny Picnic!these two teams have previousthe area councils new this the police new this the residents new this.and the fans certainly new thiswere the strategy?why the shock?
And you know full well I am a football puristI do not condone that behaviour from my teams few rebels!!!I will take the dig as a complement.

West Ham helped win the world cup in 1966, they could have just lost it for us in 2018?

It isn't really a clubs fault when people misbehave, it is our sick society and the people themselves, what are they doing these muppets confronting the police like that, football is a game !, if those muppets want to cause trouble I suggest they pop down to 10 downing street or the commons, that lot do deserve to have somebody having a go at them (bunch of crooks in power)....it won't have ruined our chances for 2018 or 2022 but it will not have helped !.

Two surprises so far this year : Villa out at the first hurdle of the Europa cup and they win at Liverpool...??.....plus Spurs leaders of the premiership...that may continue for some time.

I'd love them to win the premiership, it would be a refreshing change from the gang of four.

Not if you support one of those gang of four (??) -since when have those scouse monkies lifted the trophy ?
(and I don't mean 'lifted' in the traditional scouse sense)
