Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

Wait for Manuel to tell us nobody knows what the result will be!
I can see the tax man valuing his part of the "Thames Embankment" already!

Max.
I think the interviews with Vince Cable have brought a cleaner more honest smell to politics than the Cameron spillage.
Still think Miliband is wise to keep his head down for another 4 or 5 months, which will allow the "stiff up lip brigade" of the Con party to continue with their self destruction!
For me, it is a pity Vince isn't 5-10 years younger.

If they bring in a mansion tax.
Will MP's be able to claim the cost back in expenses?

The Queen has to pay the mansion tax on Windsor, Sandringham etc. She may need a pay rise.

I think she must be one of the asset rich cash poor brigade.
I would be in favour of a trimming of Royal purse.

UKIP are welcome to Clacton. It is a dump and has all the attributes that would attract UKIP voters and similar loonies. Perhaps all kippers could move there and we could cut Clacton adrift into the North sea. They could all run around in a panic in case it made landfall in Europe. Definitely a case of independence for Clacton.

The Queen wont pay the mansion tax on her houses that are open to the public at certain times of the year.
