Unfortunately it was just a test and socks actually wins zero beano. :-)

jeff, If you post the list of horses and the links like you did and then all the punters bets then that will be brill. If you are not here to record the bets before your deadline then the race will have to be void incase players re-edit their posts to cheat! I leave the Game in your hands.

little woman - 13 Mar 2004 17:02 - 4757 of 23498

Hi all,

watched the race, (and watch Quincy!) Jeffmack, I thought I did a win bet, not each way? (Not that it mattered horse came 4th or 5th I think as it got squashed a few times! - just means I lose less - although as a test is stll make no difference!)

Must pop out and get some food for the week.............

vasey - 15 Mar 2004 14:46 - 4768 of 23498

Lots of wet rain here in Glasgow, so hiding in an internet cafe. Must say, the food is better in 'Poochy's'.....and this lot don't even have a booze licence. Grrh!....

This_is_me - 15 Mar 2004 15:15 - 4769 of 23498

I haven't been in so belated happy birthday.

This_is_me - 15 Mar 2004 15:27 - 4770 of 23498

It is stockpotbunny's fault - it is the mad March hare syndrome. I've gone and done it, completely out of character.

CHA - I bought some, cheaper than wallpaper if it goes wrong anyway! My excuse is that they kept going down after the last set of improved results and seem to have bottomed out.

jeffmack - 15 Mar 2004 16:07 - 4771 of 23498

TIM
Always had you down as a bottom picker

This_is_me - 15 Mar 2004 16:29 - 4772 of 23498

Just arrived home, had a painless visit to the dentist, thanks for all those Happy Birthday wishes. Will have a look at the market now its closed, from what I saw earlier on nothing seemed to be happening very much.
21 candles Bunny, you are kind.

A belated many happy returns of the day from me too.

Sorry I'm so late in today, got press ganged for the usual preparations to repel boarders here in Cheltenham. Now I'm getting older the usual mine laying is very wearing on the back, the barbed wire I can manage OK, lots of practice in the RAF.

I hear from the licensed victuallers that Cheltenham is also likely to become "dry" after a few days, they had not realised that both Hightone and Jeffmack were coming!

Vaey
What are you doing in an internet cafe in Glasgow, I thought that was where you lived? (In Glasgow that is, not in an internet cafe).

jeffmack - 15 Mar 2004 19:14 - 4775 of 23498

I dont mind bringing my own beer but not the women
