keith thomas - 20 Apr 2004 17:06

katcenka - 07 Nov 2005 16:43 - 479 of 520

doom and gloom

moneyman - 15 Nov 2005 21:41 - 480 of 520

Shame everyone is missing out on this ! What action today....is there news on the way ?

fletch61 - 26 Nov 2005 10:31 - 481 of 520

Did everyone see the tick up last trades Friday, more action Monday !!! worth looking at first thing.

Red Underwing - 26 Nov 2005 18:57 - 482 of 520

Yes!
A very obvious late buying run, but not a huge sum involved! Quite concentrated after 16:00.

Lets hope it was meaningful!

Looked at the trades for a few weeks, seems every friday there is a rally for shares and then they drop the price the following week, is this simply not another trap.

moneyman - 30 Nov 2005 23:50 - 484 of 520

Look how cagey the MMs are ! Is news expected ? According to a poster on ADVFN there is a two day presentation to institutions taking place !

moneyman - 07 Dec 2005 09:32 - 485 of 520

Interesting rise today. Is it the precursor to news ?

nkirkup - 13 Dec 2005 12:23 - 486 of 520

Is this the end for ARX?

TheMaster - 13 Dec 2005 12:34 - 487 of 520

Expect massive dilution with new shares offered at a discount 4p

BOOBOO - 13 Dec 2005 12:47 - 488 of 520

Can you elaborate please TM?

moneyman - 13 Dec 2005 12:52 - 489 of 520

LOL

There is a rumour of a placing. Question is at what price and for what purpose. Remember there was talk of a large non-ULD order.

BOOBOO - 13 Dec 2005 13:42 - 490 of 520

Beginning to think I am the kiss of death.....I have waited ages to jump in here....thought it seemed like a good time....

proptrade - 13 Dec 2005 22:47 - 491 of 520

perspective please people!

1. we all knew a fund raising was coming
2. this will NOT be at anything like 4p
3. firm now has excellent order flow and can now justify asking for working capital
4. my call is that they raise at between 6p and 7p and these rally to 20p in 3 months
5. once complete we will at last have certainty...35p again???

I hope you are correct proptrade.

I think the region of 5.5p is more likely.

I'm pleased I was unduly pessimistic concernimng the placing price.
Now announced as 6p for those who haven't seen it

That should place a floor under the SP. Lets hope the acquisitions bear the expected fruit!

I liked this extract:- "In the second half of this year there has been a marked increase in interest and enquiries for the Aerobox ULD, it said."

But not the comment that some deliveries would be pushed through into 2006 because of changing delivery requirements from one customer!

perfect placement. please read my last post for what happens next!

hangon - 16 Jan 2006 15:17 - 496 of 520

Isn't this a comany with two major drawbacks?-:-
1) one-product
2) one industry
I don't like single-product companies ... competition can destroy their game in one and unless they are "the best" they will have no experience to fall back on.
Working in one-industry is a real dumb move ... since any problem will be reflected throughout your customer-base. Furthermore, if orders pick-up there is a risk that you'll be overloaded and competitors will muscle-in ... never easily removed.
/
This company needs to ditch its "Aero" - name .... how about "Betterbx" (I don't like "box" either)...
-and needs to start looking at similar products (ie plastic cages) maybe the supermarkets, industrial carts and so on - that means more investment, but it will smooth out orders and reduce the risks associated with being dependant on a single -industry.
/They are at-risk over energy prices (affects plastic) and this is a worry - but they aren't alone and I suspect their competitors will face similar problems.
Javelin has put the case against this company very clearly.....I hope my contribution may point towards a cure. The sp is quite low, maybe a chance for value-investors, however, I'm unsure that airlines won't have difficulty selling even low-cost seats as World events appear to have dented the Public's desire to fly....and fuel-price rises means that, even Low-Cost, isn't anymore.
I don't hold Aerobox.

proptrade - 16 Jan 2006 15:36 - 497 of 520

thx for the comments but you have to understand that one product companies are not the problems you make them out to be...i take it then you never trade in housebuilders, telcoms, banks or oils? utlimately these are one product single industry companies....so i trust your portolio is choco-block full of conglomerates???

anyway, aerobox is a difficult animal but if it succeeds it will do so in style. if not it will carve out a living like the rest of us....they have made 2 aquisitions recently to diversify their offering.

this is a punt on a company that has so far delivered. they have repeat orders and have successfully raised cash for the next 18 months.

Anyone think that the ARX management would give away a large % of the company if there were not some sizeable orders in the pipeline ?
