Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

ComRes show UKIP 13 points ahead in Rochester
22 OCT 2014
ComRes have a new poll of Rochester and Strood out tonight that shows UKIP with a solid lead. As far as I can recall it’s the first ComRes by-election poll this Parliament. Like all constituency polls it was done by telephone, and with a healthy sample size by constituency polling standards of 1500.
Topline figures are CON 30%, LAB 21%, LDEM 3%, UKIP 43%, GREEN 3%. The only previous Rochester & Strood poll was by Survation at the start of the month – that showed a nine point lead for UKIP

The establishment are panicking and calling in the big guns for the R+S election.

Or consider the Thought Police!

How much money are the con party and UKIP flinging at Rochester.
I suppose the Cons with the tax relief on earnings can afford to throw money away!

I would be glad to have the full confidence of Cameron,
Another U-bend skid on the cards.
I suppose Cameron learnt his patterns of behavior at Old Eton!

Max,
The said "fool" in Shakespearean drama was one of the most perceptive characters, so beware.
He foresaw what others around him didn't.
Perhaps, you are blinkered to what is happening around you!

Just thinking about Cameron.
He is the first PM I can remember who when he is drowning started swimming downwards and taking the straws with him.
8-)
Ps. with a rock of a fellow hanging onto to his ankles.
How is Nigel?

Hazyone,
I realised that I am a young man and have a long life ahead of me, unlike your beloved leader Cameron who is already walking the plank.
Are you going to Rochester to bolster the fortunes of UKIP?
Show solidarity and ask for a deal with the party which is the laughing stock of Europe. (Not sure whether I mean the Con or Kipper party there. What a mob.)
OR has party HQ already given you your orders of to say "it is just a mid term election and the result doesn't count or mean anything".
The tories really do have school boys running the sweet shop!
Perhaps, you could suggest to Wave good bye Dave that you stand for election yourself.
You should go down a bomb.

What about "flash in the pan"!
As a matter of interest, how many times have you looked over your shoulder to-day?
There is something to be said for being a sheep farmer in Snowdonia or Outer Hebrides.
I am waiting for the security card to be played by Cameron and his boyos.
Mind his hand would be 1h ,4d, 6c, 2 c, 8c, and he would think he has a good hand.
