Actually i think i have done Socks pot wrong, he does win 475.00 but he already handed over 200, so it would be 1000 - 200 + 475= 1275. Is that right only my brain is dead!

Golddog - 20 Mar 2004 16:18 - 4840 of 23498

Aunty littlewoman, I shall send you mail of my current situation 'black eye hell' in short version, and thanks for any advice you may have?.

optomistic - 20 Mar 2004 16:20 - 4841 of 23498

GD
I'm not really sure as to how you work odds out for a place but I did hear a rumour that it was quarter odds plus the place stake back. Perhaps we can ask advice of a reader who bets, he/she would know.
I wouldn't like your job!!!
Enjoy the rest of the day.

Are you still wiggy watching? Such goings on, what fun. Everyone's trying to work out why it is that Olly gets sacked and then goes and buys a million shares.

optomistic - 20 Mar 2004 17:12 - 4843 of 23498

Socs, Jeffmack'
Was watching PTG yesterday, noticed that the price kept being dropped on the bid and the offer remaining the same, spread opening to 7%
What do you think of PTG, sound buy or ultra speculative. I know Olly bought 1 million but he would have had a nice pay off to play with, buy could possibly be linked to payoff?

Socrates - 20 Mar 2004 17:42 - 4844 of 23498

opto
I've no idea whats going on, it's a total mystery to me. Ask 100 PTG investors and you'll get 100 different answers. I shall just sit back and enjoy the ride, where it takes me is in the lap of the gods.

Socrates - 21 Mar 2004 12:54 - 4845 of 23498

Is there anybody there, knock once for yes, twice for no!

optomistic - 21 Mar 2004 13:31 - 4846 of 23498

Socs
Morning, just got back from an exiting shoppind trip to ASDA, hope its not the highlight of the day, that would be sad! Can't stop for a drink gone two days without one trying to make it three. (dont wait too long for two knocks)

jeffmack - 21 Mar 2004 13:54 - 4847 of 23498

very busy Socs, not had time to look in. Great result by Millwall against West Ham, but they need to find a penalty taker after missing another two today.

Socrates - 21 Mar 2004 16:16 - 4848 of 23498

Millwall, West Ham? I could never understand rugby.

I've been trolley racing too, Tesco was my venue. Very quiet today, must have been the Grand Prix on the telly.

Socs
I'm going to live till I'm 90, which is a frightening prospect.

Socrates - 21 Mar 2004 20:37 - 4852 of 23498

Jeffmack
I agree!

stockbunny - 22 Mar 2004 11:11 - 4853 of 23498

Good morning - give the bunny a large pint glass of pure orange juice
please, even better just hand over a crate of orange juice bottles!
Plus a couple of danish please and I'm taking the comfy seat by
the fire.....nice and warm there....
Oh yes and if I were you I'd give me a wide berth, been shot down
with flu for the last couple of days, still germ-ridden, feeling
crap and about as much use as a wet dish-cloth!
(You think I'm joking, it took ages to even type this, never mind typos!)

jeffmack - 22 Mar 2004 13:33 - 4854 of 23498
