It is interesting that the world seems to be criticising Libya for the use of cluster bombs. Cluster bombs are banned by over 100 countries. Israel used cluster bombs against Gaza in 2009.

Hamas fire rockets at Israel as they are occupying their land illegally. It is not suprising that people want to rid thenmselves of an illegal occupying force. The attack on the bus was not Hamas, but another group that disagrees with Hamas. They fired at the bus because it was in a military zone. What about all the residents of Gaza that Israel kills almost evry day.

forgive me, but i thought "Hamas fire rockets at Israel as they are occupying their land illegally" meant that it was hamas who reckons israel is hamas's land; if not, who is "their"? .... israel's? .... and if it's israel's, then surely that means they are entitled to be there .... and who says that israel "belongs" to these strangely nomadic palestinians who seemingly emanate form all sorts of strange places ..... finally, who apart from you, says "Most of the cluster bombs came from the US" and even then, what is the relevance?

It is Hamas's as well as they are Palestinians. I can say England is my land no matter who I am, if I am English. The Palestinians were inhabiting the area temporarily called Israel for the last couple of thousand years.

The relevance of the US over cluster bombs was your comment that koshoggi must have made a bundle out of that. I would think that koshoggi was not involved.

The post 4886 is interesting in that Israel dropped bombs on Sudan the other day. Under exactly which piece of legislation was that possible? Certainly Sudan is not too happy about it. On that basis, it would seem to be fine for Hamas or anyone else to fire rockets at Israel.

Sudan accuses Israel over Port Sudan air strike

The Sudanese government says Israel carried out an air strike on a car near the city of Port Sudan on the Red Sea coast which killed its two passengers.

Earlier, police said a missile had probably come from the direction of the Red Sea.
