Thought I'd start a new thread as this is going to be a major talking point this year...have not made up my mind yet...(unlike bucksfizz)....but thinking of voting for an exit as Europe is not doing Britain any good at all it seems....

Manuel,
that is a very negative point of view.
But perhaps you are the only positive person who is allowed to have a differing opinion.

fred - you are unremittingly negative about anything and everything, especially where the present gov't has an influence ....... on the other hand, and again totally unlike you, i endeavour to give some sort of balanced view

Manuel.
Your own personal balance.
But with the previous "? con artist's government" it was easy to be critical.
The present "? government" the view is still being formed.
But where has Boris disappeared to?
Doesn't seem to want to answer questions.
Very unusual.
Perhaps, Theresa has him in a straitjacket.

The European Union has put itself at the top of an Olympic medal tracker! Maybe there is a commision for sports that we haven't heard of yet. Headed by Monsieur Rêveur
The EU's version of the medal table has amalgamated Britain's golds with the medals won by other European countries to put it firmly on the top.
The tally of EU countries' gold medals was 81 on Thursday night, compared with 30 for the United States. Of those 81 gold medals, 21 were won by British athletes.
In the official medal table, Britain is second behind the United States. Germany is the next best European country in fourth overall with 13 golds followed by France and Italy in seventh and eighth position with eight golds each.

Dumbo,
As is not infrequent, your are completely wrong about my wishes.
But I would, in general, prefer to avoid or navigate past danger when I see it.
Also, don't see why the poorest in society should have to pay for the sometimes stupidity of the "said" leaders and those who "know" better.

''Also, don't see why the poorest in society should have to pay for the sometimes stupidity of the "said" leaders and those who "know" better.''
Strange then that given your above statement you were an advocate of remaining in the EU.
