Referendum : to be in Europe or not to be ?, that is the question ! (REF)

required field - 03 Feb 2016 10:00

Thought I'd start a new thread as this is going to be a major talking point this year...have not made up my mind yet...(unlike bucksfizz)....but thinking of voting for an exit as Europe is not doing Britain any good at all it seems....

Chris Carson - 18 Aug 2016 22:49 - 4919 of 12628

And there was me giving you the benefit of the doubt Freda, no i was wrong. You're still a Twat! Sorry :0)

Fred1new - 19 Aug 2016 07:39 - 4920 of 12628

Manuel,

that is a very negative point of view.

But perhaps you are the only positive person who is allowed to have a differing opinion.

VICTIM - 19 Aug 2016 07:40 - 4921 of 12628

I used to work in a strip club looking after the strippers , £ 200 quid a week that was , doesn't sound much but It's all i could afford to pay them .I'm now skint but i go around with a big grin on my face .

cynic - 19 Aug 2016 07:53 - 4922 of 12628

fred - you are unremittingly negative about anything and everything, especially where the present gov't has an influence ....... on the other hand, and again totally unlike you, i endeavour to give some sort of balanced view

Fred1new - 19 Aug 2016 07:54 - 4923 of 12628

Not surprised!

Fred1new - 19 Aug 2016 07:58 - 4924 of 12628

Manuel.

Your own personal balance.

But with the previous "? con artist's government" it was easy to be critical.

The present "? government" the view is still being formed.

But where has Boris disappeared to?

Doesn't seem to want to answer questions.

Very unusual.

Perhaps, Theresa has him in a straitjacket.

For what seems a balanced view of Post Brexit vote:

Brexit latest: Are we heading for another recession now Britain is leaving the EU?

Fred would love a recession , more misery ..

iturama - 19 Aug 2016 11:10 - 4927 of 12628

The European Union has put itself at the top of an Olympic medal tracker! Maybe there is a commision for sports that we haven't heard of yet. Headed by Monsieur Rêveur

The EU's version of the medal table has amalgamated Britain's golds with the medals won by other European countries to put it firmly on the top.

The tally of EU countries' gold medals was 81 on Thursday night, compared with 30 for the United States. Of those 81 gold medals, 21 were won by British athletes.

In the official medal table, Britain is second behind the United States. Germany is the next best European country in fourth overall with 13 golds followed by France and Italy in seventh and eighth position with eight golds each.

Dumbo,

As is not infrequent, your are completely wrong about my wishes.

But I would, in general, prefer to avoid or navigate past danger when I see it.

Also, don't see why the poorest in society should have to pay for the sometimes stupidity of the "said" leaders and those who "know" better.

jimmy b - 19 Aug 2016 11:46 - 4929 of 12628

Thicko , the said leaders like your hero Blair who opened the door to world and said come in .
Most of your posts are bordering on moronic .

2517GEORGE - 19 Aug 2016 12:00 - 4930 of 12628

''Also, don't see why the poorest in society should have to pay for the sometimes stupidity of the "said" leaders and those who "know" better.''

Strange then that given your above statement you were an advocate of remaining in the EU.

grannyboy - 19 Aug 2016 12:29 - 4931 of 12628

4925, Just for balance you understand...

Credit Ratings agency Moody's forecast the UK will easily escape recession!!

Fred1new - 19 Aug 2016 12:54 - 4932 of 12628

Dumbo,

You are living up to your name.

Read my past posts on Blair.

You appear dafter than he was in some of his actions.

-=-=-==

2517.

I still think it a folly to have voted for Brexit. As do many others who thought it sensible to remain in the EU and modify the "regulations" and perhaps goals.

But the proof is said to be in the eating.

At the moment the grand surge by some of the Brexiters was for OUT.

Where they were advocate going and what they are going to get if they got there?

No Planning. Leaders of rabble and leaving the scene as soon as possible after the act.

My guess is nothing great substance will be obtained and probably little will be of advantage to the whole of the UK. At that if any will be at a cost.

Nothing is for nothing. The ability to and age of pirating and pillaging other countries are fading.

Devaluation, which some are celebrating, is a pin-prick to the economy, a form of "austerity", which inevitably effects the poorest and fades as a stimulant after a few months.

Mind, one can invite the Russians and Chinese and other countries to buy the "country's silver" at knock down prices. Invite a few more.

Ask them to donate to the coffers of the Cons party and involve them in decision making.

Perhaps giving them holiday homes in Monaco, Panama, or the Cayman Isles.

-=-=-

I see there are jobs going in the latter..

grannyboy - 19 Aug 2016 13:04 - 4933 of 12628

I think now that some of those who voted remain will be seeing that leaving
is not going to bring war and destruction to the western world, and that the
UK's economy would go belly up, in fact the opposite.

jimmy b - 19 Aug 2016 13:14 - 4934 of 12628

Thicko ...
I still think it a folly to have voted for Brexit. As do many others who thought it sensible to remain in the EU and modify the "regulations" and perhaps goals.

You must know that was never going to happen , surely you not that thick are you ?

Fred1new - 19 Aug 2016 13:34 - 4935 of 12628

The "rules, laws and regulations" of the EEC, EU etc. have been in constant, (even if slow) modification for the last 40 years.

As have the "rules, laws and regulations" of the UK for the last 300 years.

It is what you would expect of a dynamic ongoing developing body.

Times change, attitudes change and rules change in response.

Mistakes are made and the majority are recovered from.

But revolution generally causes more pain than necessary, evolution is preferable.

But the rabble wants blood and thunder.

Usually, other people's blood.

jimmy b - 19 Aug 2016 13:58 - 4936 of 12628

Yup you really are that thick ....

The "rules, laws and regulations" of the EEC, EU etc. have been in constant, (even if slow) modification for the last 40 years.

Not in our favour , an anti democratic and very very corrupt union who are unelected and wanted more and more power over us .

VICTIM - 19 Aug 2016 14:25 - 4937 of 12628

And also ruining us don't forget .

Fred1new - 19 Aug 2016 17:06 - 4938 of 12628

You want your sweets, but you won't share some of yours with anybody else.

You want to change the rules and you are going to stamp your feet until you get your own way.

You are special and want to be treated as such.

Hopes.

Restart the medication.
