next update must be on it's way-pleased to see the sp moving up again. ST check out CFE-the hot money is moving into this one-long term it looks very promising. Lots of research on the other side-I always investigate anything Cockney Rebel is keen on.
Cynic, Happy New Year, firstly, as we haven't yet crossed paths!
I would certainly tend to say that anything below 420p looks cheap, and that there have been enough revisitations of levels above 440 to make a punt in the high 420's worthwhile, at least I guess if you're CFD'ing. Forthcoming good news ought of course to propel the SP even higher.
Good luck, and I don't need to tell you IMO and PDYOR.
SOLA seems happy to trade between 400 - 450p range for the moment. A steady profit if one can spot the bounces.
Is there any reason for the sp to break out of the 450p barrier soon? There doesn't seem to be any info on the success (or otherwise) of the roadshow in the U.S.
Harry, we might get a trading statement sometime this month.
There won't be any info regarding the roadshow; it was designed to showcase the company to potential buyers of the shares and success can only really be measured in terms of US institutions taking large stakes. However, as this company is incorporated in the BVI's, it is not obliged to publish the names of major shareholders, so we're still in the dark, unfortunately.
Doubtless the US institutions now have SOLA on their watchlists and some will already have bought stock.
haven't checked size, but would guess mkt cap is much too small for US institutions ..... as for breakout, as mentioned by Harry, there is really nothing to work on as no history
