stop moved up to entry
added more at 186.15

Tellon - 23 Feb 2004 14:01 - 500 of 11056

Beeble your one step ahead of me. Moved stop up and added at 18631.

In my mind I have a rough target of 18800 are we thinking alike or just coincidence?

(F.Y.I I cant Spell)

Beeblebrox - 23 Feb 2004 14:04 - 501 of 11056

seems reasonable by friday,
but so much depends on every little inflection from
greenbum. fingers crossed, and seat belts fastened......

wish hils was around, need to hold someones hand...

Beeblebrox - 23 Feb 2004 14:09 - 502 of 11056

amazing - he hasn't said a word yet !

Maggot - 23 Feb 2004 14:27 - 503 of 11056

Cracking mornoing for those of you long on Cable. Scalped a few in spare moments from Euro/Dollar, but it's not been as solid as /Dollar.

Beeblebrox - 23 Feb 2004 14:35 - 504 of 11056

tks maggot - back to your divis now,
dont want you having too much excitement in one day...

MightyMicro - 23 Feb 2004 15:16 - 505 of 11056

dclinton: Re the IR -- but it's nice to get some of your own back.

MightyMicro - 23 Feb 2004 15:17 - 506 of 11056

Where IS Hil? I want to hold her other hand . ..

Beeblebrox - 23 Feb 2004 15:21 - 507 of 11056

probably at tennis,
and you keep your hands to yourself...
;~)

Beeblebrox - 23 Feb 2004 16:56 - 508 of 11056

actually read the cable right today, thank goodness,
both longs still running, and silly stops in overnight
.....but tommorow is another day.

Tellon - 23 Feb 2004 17:04 - 509 of 11056

Well done Beeble.. I was a bit unsure myself but what with your numbers so close to mine you kept me in the game. Ive taken the profit on my first long. Looking to run the second to 18800 - 18850 then maybe start going Short.

Had a nice start by picking the FTSE up from start. Good Trading Day for me. Thanks again Beeb.. Moral Support..

Beeblebrox - 23 Feb 2004 17:07 - 510 of 11056

it's a pleasure tellon,
though i've been nursing a ftse short all day,
just about in the money now.
pleased i posted my trades now, but please dont send the boys around if it goes wrong next time !

Tellon - 23 Feb 2004 18:59 - 511 of 11056

I just caught the 40pip euro drop.. I dont want today to end..

But it must.. Good Luck all,

dclinton - 23 Feb 2004 19:15 - 512 of 11056

MM- Yeah, but the IR make is almost as unpleasant to get back as to pay in :-)

dclinton - 23 Feb 2004 19:18 - 513 of 11056

Arrgh. Took a small long on Cable at 12:30 and been out for the afternoon to find that it went up a hundred points and gave it all back putting me exactly flat again.

Maybe that will teach me not to try and dip in and out on such a volatile instrument.

Currently long at 1.8615 with stop at 1.8580

Beeblebrox - 23 Feb 2004 19:27 - 514 of 11056

aaarrrggghhhhh is putting it mildly
b**lo***ks is nearer the mark
at 6.00 i went to cook me dinner - content it had 'settled' around 186.80

the moral of the story is..... go hungry, or starve !!!!!
( or just possibly hire a bimbo to cook for me )

hilary - 24 Feb 2004 07:22 - 515 of 11056

Just catching up on the thread from yesterday ...... what's with all the holding hands?

:o)

Trade the Cable for volatility, but watch the /$ cross as well for direction. It's starting to look oversold and is not too far below the 5 day falling resistance line. It shouldn't be too long before the line is tested. A break of this line could be accompanied by a sharp spike upwards as stops are triggered and buyers move back into the market.

Beeblebrox - 24 Feb 2004 08:14 - 516 of 11056

WARNING*WARNING*WARNING

watch out boys, the boss is in today,
best behaviour compulsory

morning Ma'am

closed my 2 longs last night 186.69,
after having a few kittens

now flat

hilary - 24 Feb 2004 08:25 - 517 of 11056

Good morning Beebs,

Whatever happened to the "run profits, cut losses" philosophy?

:o)

Beeblebrox - 24 Feb 2004 08:31 - 518 of 11056

you wanna watch that mm chap though, i mean if we'd had one hand each,

have i gone back in long ? have i 'eck...
