Another advantage of the Ki-Bi method is you do not get malware and viruses on the phone, which is now starting to happen;

PapalPower - 19 Aug 2005 01:25 - 6 of 81

Some stronger buying volume today which you would expect as the price has gone down to cash level. For KIB I would expent plenty of news flow in the last quarter of the year and its already started with the Giant Step contract, and getting a foothold in the US market was always one of the key issues for much larger growth from Ki-Bi.

PapalPower - 19 Aug 2005 07:52 - 7 of 81

squidd my reasoning here is that we are due to enter their most busy time of the year, the price has slumped on no news (and not bad news) so all the positives remain. We should be entering into a period of solid news and a trading update so should be good.

PapalPower - 19 Aug 2005 16:11 - 8 of 81

250K of Broker to Broker B trades there.

B Broker to Broker
A transaction between two member firms where neither firm is registered as a market maker in the security in question and neither is a designated fund manager.

PapalPower - 20 Aug 2005 00:39 - 9 of 81

Could be an interesting few weeks ahead now after the trades of yesterday, should we be expecting news very soon now.

squidd - 20 Aug 2005 12:36 - 10 of 81

PpP: Over coffee, have enjoyed reading your header, surely these are the best on the BB and very persuasive, but I have to conclude that KIB is not for me.
It is an area of technology that I do not use nor understand and in any case, I'm not too keen on relatively young companies.
My portfolio is focussed mainly on recovery stocks, ones like ELA which has fallen off a cliff, or those which are down 99% from earlier peaks such as PCM or ULT, where any rises can quickly cancel out a lot of failures elsewhere.
So I was more interested in your recent attention to BSP and PNC as these seem to be exciting recovery prospects, both apparently being revitalised and enjoying high average trades with tiny market caps. I have already taken a stake in PNC and will now be watching both closely.
sd.

PapalPower - 20 Aug 2005 18:48 - 11 of 81

squidd PNC will remain volatile until the rest of the 55 million shares worth of loan notes not in the directors hands are converted, but there are gains to be had.

BSP is a very exciting prospect and could rocket on news of confirmation of the deal for the 25% stake in GeoSim. Even if it does not go ahead then BSP will have to account for the fact that presently the value of GeoSim on their books is nowhere near what the "Firm" have offered for half of that stake, let alone the value then of the full stake that BSP have.

PapalPower - 22 Aug 2005 11:16 - 12 of 81

A quiet start to the week so hopefully some stability and then news to start it back upwards again.

PapalPower - 24 Aug 2005 00:45 - 13 of 81

Still more buying though less today. I think the problem has a lot to do with the situation surrounding Collins Stewart as opposed to anything to do with Ki-Bi, which is positive for a good rebound later.

squidd, did you get out of ULT in time to take the major gains ?

PapalPower - 30 Sep 2005 08:05 - 14 of 81

Good positive results going forward and new agreement for Australasia

Market cap less than net cash.

In the busy second half with Christmas coming.

Very undervalued in my opinion !

KI-BI Expands Global Reach to Australia and New Zealand

RT Developments will give Ki-Bi access to over 20 million end users

Ki-Bi Mobile Technologies (Ki-Bi or 'the Company'), the mobile content
distribution specialist, today announces its expansion into the Australian and
New Zealand markets through a partnership with reseller, RT Developments G.I.M.
PTY Ltd (RT Developments).

To add to its already growing presence in Europe and North America, the
partnership means that Ki-Bi will now be distributing Ki-Bi Cards to channels
including network operators, media groups and retail markets within Australiasia
and have access to an additional regional market of 20 million end-users.

The Ki-Bi mobile content card is a physical device and server platform for the
retail distribution of mobile content. To access content from a Ki-Bi card
customers simply dial the Ki-Bi service, hold their card up to their phone and
press the button relating to the content they wish to receive. An acoustic tone
is played which triggers the download of content to the phone from the central
server.

Ehud Levy, Chief Executive of Ki-Bi, said: 'This partnership is a strategically
important development for Ki-Bi as it gives us the opportunity to leverage our
technology in a wider range of sales channels. RT Developments is backed by
strong partners from various industries which will be invaluable to our
visibility in Australia and New Zealand and the partnership enables us to enter
the Australasian market some six months ahead of the date envisaged by our
business plan at the time of the Company's IPO in May 2005.'

Ronen Triffon, Director of RT Developments G.I.M., said: 'I am very pleased and
excited with the newly formed strategic alliance between Ki-Bi and RT
Developments G.I.M. It is my belief that Ki-Bi's unique technology for
channelling content will be attractive to corporate customers and end users in
the region.'

Reuters using Ki-Bi cards

Reuters Opts In to Mobile Promo
At Advertising Week, Reuters passed out an interesting promotion for mobile users at a handful of events. I was given a credit card-size handout wrapped in plastic. At first glance I assumed it was a pocketsize schedule of events, possibly a map labeling locations of panels, keynotes and other points of interest.

As it turns out, it was an agenda, schedule of events and parties, and news from Reuters, just in an unexpected format. The card contained a chip that, when played into the handset of a mobile phone, sent text messages with the requested information. It was certainly a useful tool for a hectic week with events and appointments spread out across town.

The technology behind the promotion was provided by a company called Ki-Bi Mobile Technologies.

A poster elsewhere contact Ki-Bi recently and the reply was encouraging too, they appear to have got their head around the lack of coverage caused the price to fall when reality is the business plan is exactly where it should be and going well.

A good update from greengiant at AFN;

greengiant - 4 Oct'05 - 15:33 -

papal - apologies for not getting back to you earlier. Have followed up my e-mail with a tele conv with the company and here is the gist of my conversation

1) Concerns over publicity / lack of news flow. The company will not release any RNS unless they represent a significant peice of news. They are not in the habit of releasing news for everything and sundry.

2) They are not happy with the level of penetration in the UK and are looking to rectify this as soon as possible through alternative distribution channels.

3) The increase in costs is driven by 2 factors - R&D which has now been completed, which was to convert the server technology to decode 3G cards and increase in marketing costs which are all ready showing benefits. Lots said about a standing start etc etc

4) Margins are actually improving on the product, in comparison with H2 last year v H1 so any additional revenue should cover Overheads fairly quickly.

5) US is seen as a key market and progress in that market is being made at a fairly rapid rate

6) No reason for the share price decline - it is undervalued.

Lots of other techy stuff which I didn't understand, but sounded impressive. They have also addressed my concerns about ringtones not changing and I can confirm that this week they have.

Ki-Bi Mobile Tech expands into Australasia

Ki-Bi Mobile Technologies Ltd. said Friday that it will expand into the Australian and New Zealand markets through a partnership with reseller, RT Developments G.I.M. Pty Ltd.

To add to its already growing presence in Europe and North America, the partnership means that Ki-Bi will now be distributing Ki-Bi Cards to channels including network operators, media groups and retail markets within Australiasia and have access to an additional regional market of 20 million end-users.

The good news was also that they are making good progress in the USA as this is a market thats growing rapidly and not defined in terms of delivery and if they are making good progress as has been said the effects of that could be huge and an area they look like they prioritised for investment in early 2005 to gain the benefits.

Mobile Content Growing, Expected to Soar

According to a Wall Street Journal report, faster carrier networks, flashier handsets and consumer interest are driving the growth in mobile content including games, music, and news headlines. As carriers continue to upgrade their wireless networks and manufacturers continue to offer devices with more functionality, consumers can expect more start-up companies offering a wide-variety of mobile content. While the use of mobile content is currently greater in Asia and Europe, the U.S. market is growing rapidly with analysts expecting sales of mobile data to reach $8.4 billion in 2006.

A good day I think today, after the bid/offer was dropped to 32/34 after a single sell of 10,024 the rest were all buys at 33/34 and the bid and offer ended up from the opening drop. Some nice buying which might indicate we are going to get some more good news soon.

Given the delayed reporting and T's I make it just the 10,024 sell / rest are buys.
