Please report bugs and enhancements (BUGS)

andy.lovell - 04 Nov 2002 11:26

If you're having any problems, or want to suggest some improvements, please post below!

Level2 changes
In the last few weeks we've needed to implement some code changes to make us compliant with the LSE's rules on the access of Level2 data.

The following requirement is now in place:
You can only use 1 program on 1 computer to access Level2 on MoneyAM using a single username.

This means that you are able to view as many Level2 windows using any one particular browser, or program, that you wish, however you will not be able to use both Firefox and Internet Explorer at the same time (the same goes for using Quote Tracker or TradeSeeker at the same time as viewing it using a web browser)

If you find you're being logged off of MoneyAM's Level2 with the message 'you've logged on from another location' then check the above and make sure you're not running any other programs at the same time before reporting this as a bug.

Thanks for your magic wand, Ian

Ian - Any progress with the toplists, yet?

We still appear to have a crazy mix of current and old figures on there which makes it unusable.

Funnily enough, the gainers/fallers tab on the homepage appears to be correct but unfortunately only shows a very limited number of stocks.....

The re-logon problem seems to be greatly improved. I hardly ever get asked to logon these days. I can re-logon after rebooting the following day now without being asked for details.

hewittalan6 - 30 May 2006 08:39 - 5035 of 7315

Ian,
Is there a problem with stockwatch? I can't seem to get on. All other pages are fine but I just get StockApplet loading on that one.
Thanks,
Alan

IanT(MoneyAM) - 30 May 2006 08:40 - 5036 of 7315

Alan,

There is no problem at the moment, can you try logging out using teh button at the top of MoneyAM and then closing your browser and then trying again?

If that does not work, can you try restarting your machine and let me know what happens?

hewittalan6 - 30 May 2006 08:45 - 5037 of 7315

No change, Ian.
The screen shows the banners and the adverts , and even the choice of watchlists etc. The only thing missing is the important bit in the middle!! (Though I do get a few of the light blue background lines).
Alan

IanT(MoneyAM) - 30 May 2006 08:48 - 5038 of 7315

Alan,

can you send me a screen shot, so I can see what is happening? ian@moneyam.com

Fundy,

That is very strange - the support box has hardly any E mails in it and has received mail over the weekend and this morning - could you try my personal account ian@moneyam.com?

Ian

Anyone else have this problem.

the links to such as Stockwatch, Investors room are very slow to work.
The link to earlier threads, pages are also very slow and the actual link to thread list sometimes has not worked after 10 to 20 seconds, occasionally not at all. Is it me or is anyone else having same problem. My other sites work fine.
