though i've been nursing a ftse short all day,
just about in the money now.
pleased i posted my trades now, but please dont send the boys around if it goes wrong next time !

MM- Yeah, but the IR make is almost as unpleasant to get back as to pay in :-)

Arrgh. Took a small long on Cable at 12:30 and been out for the afternoon to find that it went up a hundred points and gave it all back putting me exactly flat again.

Maybe that will teach me not to try and dip in and out on such a volatile instrument.

Currently long at 1.8615 with stop at 1.8580

aaarrrggghhhhh is putting it mildly

at 6.00 i went to cook me dinner - content it had 'settled' around 186.80


the moral of the story is..... go hungry, or starve !!!!!

Trade the Cable for volatility, but watch the /$ cross as well for direction. It's starting to look oversold and is not too far below the 5 day falling resistance line. It shouldn't be too long before the line is tested. A break of this line could be accompanied by a sharp spike upwards as stops are triggered and buyers move back into the market.

Slimmer chance of any rate rise on those figures.

my inclination is a small short very soon, c188.80ish
coz our cousins across the pond tend to overdo everything
and it's just started looking a bit toppy

mind you, i thought it would take till friday to get to 188.00,
so you pays yer money.........

p.s. if i do go short, the stop will be 189.20ish
