Provexis Buy at 3.25p - Target 8p (PXS)

peeyam - 08 May 2007 11:30

LONDON (AFX) - Provexis PLC said it has entered into a long-term collaboration agreement with Unilever PLC to jointly develop a new concentrated format of its patented Fruitflow heart-health technology for application in Unilever's food product portfolio.

Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.

The partners plan to enter into a global licence arrangement for the technology.

Fruitflow is a patented natural extract from tomato which Provexis said has been shown in human trials to reduce the propensity for aberrant blood clotting that is typically associated with cardiovascular disease and which can lead to heart attack or stroke.

In 2005 the market for heart benefit foods was worth 4 bln usd globally, Provexis added.

Considering the growth potential this share has a target of about 8-10p in the medium tern and is a good buy at current levels

As usual, pls do ur own research.

cynic - 21 Sep 2009 14:54 - 513 of 1204

like an ass, bought some PELE at 80 which is where they have been all day, and certainly jumped in for extra PXS far too early ..... nevertheless hasn't been a bad day all round

blanche - 21 Sep 2009 15:31 - 514 of 1204

Cynic, Dont how much you like to make on a share each time, but imo you should make a quick 25% on pele in a short space of time. Double in 12 months aimvho.

cynic - 21 Sep 2009 15:46 - 515 of 1204

i don't know the answer to that one myself ...... rather depends on how the mood takes me and/or the markets are performing in general, but thanks for heads-up

Toya - 22 Sep 2009 08:21 - 516 of 1204

Going up again today - just stay put!

cynic - 22 Sep 2009 08:26 - 517 of 1204

Toya - 22 Sep 2009 08:28 - 518 of 1204

Drinks all round then Cynic?

Toya - 22 Sep 2009 08:29 - 519 of 1204

... tomato-based of course...

cynic - 22 Sep 2009 08:31 - 520 of 1204

even for marni!

Global Nomad - 22 Sep 2009 08:38 - 521 of 1204

looks like another cycle of strong rises coming around.....

kimoldfield - 22 Sep 2009 15:40 - 522 of 1204

A couple of hefty buys just gone through. Somebody likes Sirco!

blanche - 22 Sep 2009 16:00 - 523 of 1204

And very confident with it!!!!!!

kimoldfield - 22 Sep 2009 16:16 - 524 of 1204

Indeed!

required field - 22 Sep 2009 16:38 - 525 of 1204

You are all going to get your fingers burnt..if you are not careful on this one....weird stock...can't make sense of how this is valued...a major order for whatever it does has to come to justify the sp as it now stands ..otherwise...the abyss again....I would jump in again myself but it's the sort of stock as in dreams or nightmares...

halifax - 22 Sep 2009 16:41 - 526 of 1204

rf are you a shorter then?

required field - 22 Sep 2009 16:43 - 527 of 1204

I have never shorted in my life...would love to try it out one day : but I have to be sure..the trouble with shorting is that you can nearly always pick out a riser and go for that, shorting is very tricky...but I wouldn't risk it on this one...at the moment.

blanche - 22 Sep 2009 16:51 - 528 of 1204

More of a gradual rise this time. More stability. When the ec wording confirmation comes through. Which imo is granteed too be in one form or another, the deals will follow and that will justify the valuation and way more. aimvho, dyor, gl, fib.

cynic - 22 Sep 2009 16:52 - 529 of 1204

RF ...... i would agree with you 120% were it not for the consistent strength linked to consistently high volumes - 20m today; norm 9.5m and yesterday may have been heavier still, but i can't remember

required field - 22 Sep 2009 16:59 - 530 of 1204

And the bulls will turn into bears just like that on this one....75 million and 5000 earnings : I mean : turning tomatoes into gold might justify this valuation....I just can't bring myself around to jumping back in here...I thought it was a miracle last time I made a small buck...
