I'll join you little woman, just tell me where you're coming apart and I'll do the glueing for you. Hot lemon & whisky is what you need, easy on the lemon and hot and heavy on the whisky.

Next week is the final Race for this session but the Gee Gee Game will return soon. Punters will have another 1000 starting pot and those that have played so far will have their current pot funds added to the 1000.
So if you want to catch lw you will need to work out how much to invest at what price. So I would need to invest my 500 on a 10/1 winner to catch lw.

Morning All!
Little Woman - know what you mean the aftermath of the current
batch of flu/cold bugs seems to go forever!! Lots of hot drinks
seems the only thing that appeases my throat & cough.
The bunny's purse is smarting due to lending number one son
the cash for his insurance on the brumm-brumm he found on the
weekend and is due to collect in a couple of days. Strange isn't
it that insurance for cars is one of the few where the cost/worth of the
insured item (Car) is LESS than TPTF insurance on it!!!!! Can you
imagine if houses worked the same, there'd be riots on the streets!!
I haven't seen the 'wheels' yet but do know it's 10 years old and red
and cost more than I'd pay for it.....Large brandy please, I think I'm
feeling my age as the phrase "When I was a girl...."is entering my head!!!
Jeffie-Mackie haven't you got this 'joy' to come with one of yours??

My oldest is 24, youngest 21, so I have been a no return money lender for some years.

My daughter, bless her, doesn't want a car. What luck.
Mind you she lives in Vancouver where you don't need one.
Even the beach is downtown!

Ah so you are well-versed in the practise then...But what can we
mere parents do? Not a lot of choice is there?? Its not a question
of minding playing at being Barclays, its the need for us to do so
due to the kids being ripped off that annoys me, but never mind.
Must have been someone else in here who's young 'en had
passed the theory test recently.

I am lucky to be still alive. I went over a dead badger in the car last night and it took off a brake pipe . Fortunately I had cause to prod the brakes because of a slow car in front before I went down a steep hill to a T junction otherwise the whole family could have been wiped out.

As this race on saturday will be the last I intend going
out with a bang so I'll put my 600 pot on as follows: (!)
Unshakable (I wish..) e/w 150
Turbo (for sonny number 1!) e/w 150
That should wipe me out in one foul/fowl (?) swoop if they lose (600)
which no doubt they will (giggle!)

Glad you survived This_is_me. It must have been terrifying, especially with the family in the car.
How did you stop?

You are right it was my youngest who passed his theory test recently. He is 21 in June and I am stumping up for an intensive driving course (400) and if he passes a cheap car and insurance. Its the old what you do for one you have to do for the other.
Regarding the horse race, the final list of runners will be posted tomorrow, so hold your bets for now.
TIM
Dead badger, that will teach you to aim for it.

Well it was a dead badger after he went over it. Maybe it was just lying doggo.

Some people will try to make a bob or two out of anything. I've got four tickets already, all for free.
