Please report bugs and enhancements (BUGS)

andy.lovell - 04 Nov 2002 11:26

If you're having any problems, or want to suggest some improvements, please post below!

Level2 changes
In the last few weeks we've needed to implement some code changes to make us compliant with the LSE's rules on the access of Level2 data.

The following requirement is now in place:
You can only use 1 program on 1 computer to access Level2 on MoneyAM using a single username.

This means that you are able to view as many Level2 windows using any one particular browser, or program, that you wish, however you will not be able to use both Firefox and Internet Explorer at the same time (the same goes for using Quote Tracker or TradeSeeker at the same time as viewing it using a web browser)

If you find you're being logged off of MoneyAM's Level2 with the message 'you've logged on from another location' then check the above and make sure you're not running any other programs at the same time before reporting this as a bug.

Snip,

If you are still having problems, could you send me a screen shot of what you can see when you go into stockwatch?

Sorry if this has been covered before ....

Is it possible for PBB users to post threads that show on both the PBB and the FBB? I know the administrators do but I don't think we can? it would sometimes be very useful for PBB users to post so that the thread was also available on the FBB for example I have just posted a new thread about Inside Track looking for information and it would be good to get replies from FBB users as well?

I would NOT do it so that FBB can be seen on PBB.

Spaceman,

It is not currently possible I am afraid, as we like to keep the boards seperate - we can do this on accassion for a relevant thread - such as the bugs thread, but this is not something we do regularly.

Hi Ian,
OK but it would be a great thing to offer and you already have the mechanism to do it so it must be easy.

Please put it on the list along with getting the search to work !

Spaceman,

The reason we do not offer it is due to the fact that if we don't control it lots of posts from the Traders Room would be made available on the Investors room, which would then start to merge the boards and not keep them seperate. This would in essence mean that Free users would not need to upgrade to view more and more threads on the Traders Room.

Ian, Yes I understand that point very valid, its why I suggested it should only be made available to PBB users, maybe some sort of system where such threads had to be authorised by the admins would work?

greekman - 23 Jun 2006 07:20 - 5134 of 7315

Post's missing. 22 Jun 2006 08:00 - 2611 of 2611 ( morning to all ).

On clicking onto Investors Room, I found that my post of yesterday @ 0800hrs re Petrel resources is missing. The only way to find it is by the search system.
There is a gap between posts Wed 21 Jun 23:15 and Thu 22 Jun 08:03 which leads be to think ( as the gap is over 8 hours without a post ) that there may be more than 1 missing thread.
Any ideas.

greekman - 23 Jun 2006 07:24 - 5135 of 7315

Forget the above. After posting the above post, the missing one appeared at the top of page 2. It definitely was not there before as I checked 3 times.
Just one of those sudden glitches it appears.

IanT(MoneyAM) - 23 Jun 2006 07:30 - 5136 of 7315

greekman,

I will take a look anyway, if you see anything like this again please let me know,

Ian

Recently when I've been looking at intraday charts they appear to be slow to load and at least 15 minutes - sometimes as much as an hour - behind the actual time

Any ideas

Thanks

Andrew

In the meantime the intraday charts have been renamed the Owen Hargreaves charts, being slow, late and almost useless.

Ian

Occasionally intraday charts are incorrect and distort stocks quite substantially.
GSK is one today. It shows starting the day at 1600 which is wrong as the uncrossing price in the auction was 1512.
This can be very misleading,is there anything that can be done about this.
