Good evening all

I have talked to Ivan on a couple of occasions. While I believe him to be straight down the middle and that this is very much make or break for him. I did come away with a bit of a feeling that he views BLR as his baby and would be reluctant I think to hand over the responsability. At the end of the day the choice will not be his.

As for the drilling schedule above I strongly think you will see slippage in that as the weather in Colombia is rather wet from September??

I did contemplate buying back in after the placeing but after the Arce 4 results have decided against.

Good luck to you all with Monterey but has anyone checked if the recent Norweigen rig workers strike has delayed things. Worth dropping Wintersall an E-mail they are very good at Investor relations.

Again Good luck

Regards

Good post, Doc. Thanks.

A good article on BLR on www.proactiveinvestor.com and you can register free.

Dr Square: Good post and would agree that Ivan would be reluctant to give up the reins at BLR. Having said that I can see no reason why he would have to do that. They got rid of the finance guy last year and BLR were on their last couple of dollars and he had achieved nothing. Ivan has managed to raise all the capital required for near term drilling and will take BLR to production this year. I am satisfied with his contribution to BLR and cant understand the reasoning behind some investors wanting him removed. It is his baby as he saved the company along with us (investors) of course, from going under. The next couple of months are the most exciting in the last two and a half years I have held the shares.
You may well be right about the drilling programme above but I took it from their presentation at the oilbarrel conf. If it all went to plan it would be a first for BLR but they cant take all the blame as they are not the operators of these drills.
Like you said Good Luck to all!

Rutherford: Sorry to be a nuisance, but the www.proactiveinvestor.com site does not exist. Could you kindly post a link.

Thank you.

No need for him to go, Rutherford. There's many a company chairman who enlists a top rate CEO to look after the nitty gritty.

be aware of Australian people, making presentations especially at oil barrell conference, they tend to boast to much or exaggierte,. Theres something about aussie voices and accents put me totally of as been on the board of blr, hence the sp decrease.

Marcel, did you mean what do brokers do in general?

As I understand it (because I've never read about it or really given it much thought before) handling company relations with investors is about the size of it. Organising things like share placings and other forms of fundraising, including the investor presentations and actually getting the shares into the stock market, maintaining the register of shareholders, etc. Also in many cases publishing analysis and reports. I could go on, but I think you get the drift.
