Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

stop the drivelling sticky and tell us (me!) that you have managed to sidestep the carnage of the last couple of days
i had a much bigger dow short running than i now have, but balls shrivelled at the size of the growing loss so cut 60% of it around 17850 - never mind

Carnage, got to be joking Ive been raking it in for the past 3 weeks just ask Casey Carson.
May have just got lucky but I have now open at 14 long positions the most I have had in the last 5 years.
I feel extremely bullish and this fall today probably with wed and thursday is a man made engineered drop in order to open the market for the XMAS bounce.
I knew it was coming.
The last 2 years have been identical.
Ive got a copy of Robbie Burns diary/almanac, last week was spot on a muted week and this week mon to thursday down days and miserable followed by on Friday a bounce back and then a bounce right through to first week in Jan a step back for a week and then full throttle to beg of March.

I think that picture just shows how in touch with certain groups of people the Chancellor really is! lol.. Cameron on the other hand I still think is completely out of touch with the majority of people in the country..

i know you've done very well indeed over the last few weeks .... i've just been my usual moronic self, but never mind
i can see many reasons NOT to be bullish but things rarely go as expected ...... for sure the world economies have been very badly hit for the last several months as is indicated by storage depots across the world being crammed to bursting with idle kit
the collapse in crude prices is also something of a double-edged sword and of course the price for basic hard commodities has been beaten to a pulp
in the uk itself, the looming general election is unsettling enough and with the strong likelihood of another weak gov't in prospect, and certainly one without an overall majority (its hue matters not), why should ftse have any reason to be perky?

GF,
Agreed with your postings.
Hope the "manipulations" are investigated after the election, unless of course the etonian mafia are losing the "records" already.

Manuel,
Lucky, me. Cleared the table of my share bets on Friday.
Pure anxiety and luck.
But as a pleb only need enough for a bowl of porridge and a few pulses to survive on.
Must admit thinking of dipping long again.
Not sure.

Prefer somebody to outline George with chalk marks. Lovely fellow.

I saw my doctor today.
He told me that I am still in the same imperfect order I was 40 years ago and have arranged to meet up after Xmas for a dinner.
(If we can find the right food bank.)
I hope he means I have a little more time left than I expected.

Ring him and get your wife to tell him you that you have just died and you need a death certificate and cremation form sign.
In a market economy it is amazing what the response is to a little fee is.
