THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

Who the Fxxx is Casey Carson?

cynic - silly question gf is Mr 99%, walks on water and takes it up the axxe!! LOL!!!!

Shortie - 09 Dec 2014 14:10 - 52529 of 81564

I think that picture just shows how in touch with certain groups of people the Chancellor really is! lol.. Cameron on the other hand I still think is completely out of touch with the majority of people in the country..

cynic - 09 Dec 2014 14:11 - 52530 of 81564

i know you've done very well indeed over the last few weeks .... i've just been my usual moronic self, but never mind

i can see many reasons NOT to be bullish but things rarely go as expected ...... for sure the world economies have been very badly hit for the last several months as is indicated by storage depots across the world being crammed to bursting with idle kit

the collapse in crude prices is also something of a double-edged sword and of course the price for basic hard commodities has been beaten to a pulp

in the uk itself, the looming general election is unsettling enough and with the strong likelihood of another weak gov't in prospect, and certainly one without an overall majority (its hue matters not), why should ftse have any reason to be perky?

Shortie - 09 Dec 2014 14:16 - 52531 of 81564

I bet Georges response was "lets draw a line under it and move on!!"... lol

goldfinger - 09 Dec 2014 14:16 - 52532 of 81564

cynic - 09 Dec 2014 14:21 - 52533 of 81564

talking of which, i had my thrill of the month today with a prostate check :-)

Chris Carson - 09 Dec 2014 14:21 - 52534 of 81564

Not according to Fred! You actually want to send ME a positive e-mail?

Fred1new - 09 Dec 2014 14:30 - 52535 of 81564

GF,

Agreed with your postings.

Hope the "manipulations" are investigated after the election, unless of course the etonian mafia are losing the "records" already.

Manuel,

Lucky, me. Cleared the table of my share bets on Friday.

Pure anxiety and luck.

But as a pleb only need enough for a bowl of porridge and a few pulses to survive on.

Must admit thinking of dipping long again.

Not sure.

-----

Prefer somebody to outline George with chalk marks. Lovely fellow.

Shortie - 09 Dec 2014 14:30 - 52536 of 81564

If a prostate check is your thrill of the month Cynic I'd hate to ask what your highlights for this year have been!!

goldfinger - 09 Dec 2014 14:30 - 52537 of 81564

Yep, I dont hold grudges Chris for more than a few weeks.

Just blow hot and cold you should know that by now.

Anyway its xmas.

No tricks

Ill send it via the message service.

cynic - 09 Dec 2014 14:53 - 52538 of 81564

it's always good to know one's prostate is as smooth as a baby's bottom, though the psa count is still awaited

how's yours fred, or was it whipped out years ago?

Chris Carson - 09 Dec 2014 14:56 - 52539 of 81564

Blimey nearly fell off my chair gf. Ditto if you mean it.

goldfinger - 09 Dec 2014 14:58 - 52540 of 81564

Yep no probs, I dont hold grudges. Well not for long.

Hope u like it.

Fred1new - 09 Dec 2014 14:59 - 52541 of 81564

I saw my doctor today.

He told me that I am still in the same imperfect order I was 40 years ago and have arranged to meet up after Xmas for a dinner.

(If we can find the right food bank.)

I hope he means I have a little more time left than I expected.

goldfinger - 09 Dec 2014 15:00 - 52542 of 81564

Takes 22 days now to see my GP, what a state of affairs.

Fred1new - 09 Dec 2014 15:07 - 52543 of 81564

Ring him and get your wife to tell him you that you have just died and you need a death certificate and cremation form sign.

In a market economy it is amazing what the response is to a little fee is.

goldfinger - 09 Dec 2014 15:21 - 52544 of 81564

LOL, your right about that tho he trys to get me on all sorts of pills just to pick up those commissions they get.

goldfinger - 09 Dec 2014 15:22 - 52545 of 81564

I blame it on Hays and the like and there silly relaxed attitude of everything that is wrong with this present rotten nasty Tory government.

goldfinger - 09 Dec 2014 15:27 - 52546 of 81564

Supposed to be a Weather Bomb hitting here in the next 2 hours.

Suppose it will be better watching that than the market at the moment.

Jezze a tree 20 ft long as just blown past the window............no kidding.

cynic - 09 Dec 2014 15:29 - 52547 of 81564

fred - i hope you don't find out he has cannibalistc tendencies!

gf - perhaps he's so fed up with hearing your gripes that he hopes you'll have died by the time he sees you .....
i doubt we ever have to wait more than a week here, unless you want/need to see a specific doctor, in which case, perhaps it's a little longer
