Whats coming tomorrow and this week - well IMO no RNS on Monday - cannot see them having anything except a super discount price sale of 1 machine in the US or a free trial machine in the US - or perhaps an order for a couple more machines - not really worthy of an RNS - they may have decided with the price well over what it should be to let it ride in with the bears to interim reporting - they know that quite of lot of aspects of the city will tear their interims to pieces - even EVO downgraded from Buy to Add recently (yes - you know whats next a quick blip at hold and the sell perhaps) - so they may now let it free ride to interims and let those who exit first get the best profits - who knows - perhaps they will try one more pump up before interim loss reporting - perhaps its no news now until after the interims have been mauled by the city - we shall see.

Morning Bos,
No idea what he is saying, been filtered a long time. Hope his short is still open. Hopefully another week of consolidation, still sticking with June 14 for the next major leg up.

Can't see any good news here for quite some time yet guys. Certainly not this month. Nobody quite seems to know what is going on and confusion seems to be all over the place of late. Everyone is seeking information but none comes. A friend tells me it may even be next year before we can realistically hope to see some movement. I've stuck with it for a long time but am seriously thinking of selling and moving on. Helpful comments from serious posters are invited.

Sambal/Mr Pod, The problem here is impatience and so many speculators now on this "Investor" thread. The other problem is that those not in the know CAN post absolute and utter crap dressed up as opinion and it is OK. Those involved with any of this and with some actual information CANNOT put what they know on here otherwise they could be in breach of confidentialities. It would also aggrevate further volatile share price movement if folk in the packaging industry posted on here actual info that they came across, know what I mean!!
All I can say is that I am holding on to these AND if the bears/shorters have another crack, I will buy some more.
Unless you are a trader making a quick buck on up/down swings or you have met your own targets or have need for the dosh, selling SEO now, in its infancy of developing into a worldclass packaging technology company could be a bad decision. The potential of many things they are working on (not just RF) is so big its worth having in anyones portfolio, certainly less risky than oil/gold exploration!!

Mr Pod - if you want to make money - sell on the highs and buy on the lows - others will tell you to keep holding - that serves their own purpose of buying and selling and trading the stock - too many sellers and the price crashes - a few sells and a few buys - gives it the up and down enough to make their trading worthwhile. Make your own mind up - but remember - a profit is only a profit when converted to cash !!
The bulls and rampers have gone quiet - this may mean no news now until after interims are ripped to pieces in the city - they had an increased loss from 2003 to 2004 and looks like a further increased loss 2004 to 2005. I would say take profits - why not - you can buy back in any time you want - July might be worth a look depending on how many machines they get ordered between now and then - they need over 75 by October 31st 2004 to stand any chance of not making another loss at final results in Feb 2006. (The pump and dump crew will say no - keep holding - you might miss the big jump - but if this is going to do like they say - there is plenty of chance to get back on board and everyone - even RHPS - says this is high risk - meaning it can crash as fast as it could climb - so why not covert paper profit to real profit cash in hand and review in July perhaps ?)
This stock has just been ramped and pumped up IMO - and now lots of people in it - who know the fundamentals are terrible - but still believing the dream as they want money for nothing.
If I were holding now I would take profits - in cash - and see whats happening later in July - thats just IMO - your decision is your own.

andysmith, thank you!! at last, a post worth reading!! it's like an oasis of clear blue water in a desert of shite! long term holders have seen all this before, the spurt upwards, the retracment, the consolidation at new levels, the panic from those who bought at the top of the spurt and the doom and gloom merchants . i would suggest people go back and re-read what ii was saying when he started posting, have a look what the price was, check his predictions and soothsaying, then see if he has been correct about anything. i would but i cannot be arsed. have a good day!

Mr Pod,
Have you ever posted here before ?
How many SEO do you own ?
Are you another ii or other basher alias ?
I am just wondering, becuase what you have posted I have seen the EXACT words posted by bashers many times before.
FACTS ....
ii is a liar.
ASDA deal is now COMMERCIAL.
When the Salad Trials are completed, expect NEWS(no, NOT next year)including an update of the number of machines now in the pot.
Stanelco are in talks with the SIX biggest USA retailers, and deals will come THIS YEAR, NOT next year.
Stanelco are agrressively target marketing FrogPack, and EVO say a deal within weeks if not months, NOT next year.
I know what is going on, and I see no confusion ANYWHERE.
I get information, I just e-mail HQ.
The facts are in the press, and on packaging websites, that Greenseal benefits apply to cold or hot peel lids, as well as cut to remove. ii(idiotinside) is trying to scare shareholders into selling, hoping that he can force a price drop, ii is a low-life sick loser, who spends day and night bashing Stanelco, 'get a life' is an understatement.
"Stanelco's RF packaging technology will provide a number of benefits for both ASDA and the consumer, including:"
-- Increased sales
-- Reduced waste
-- Longer shelf life
-- Cost reductions on packaging materials
-- Energy and labor savings
-- Extensive environmental benefits
Cheers,
PM

Stanelco is already moving ahead to market GREENSEAL to leading U.S. grocers and retailers, including Wal-Mart, Albertson's, Midwestern retailing giant Kroger's, California-based Von's, Ralph's and Safeway, and others. Stanelco has opened a North American office in Orlando, Fla., to coordinate international sales and implementation efforts for Stanelco
Stephanie Morgan-Fisher, Director of Stanelco's North American Operations said, "The UK conversion marks the beginning of a revolution in packaging. This is the first machine of ASDA's 200-machine commitment in the United Kingdom. We are aggressively marketing this technology in North America simultaneously and expect to announce our first agreement for conversions in the United States and Canada in the near future."

Well, well - just back from a week's sailing with no internet and hardly any mobile phone. SEO continues to sit just where you'd expect it to whilst waiting for the next piece of serious news. Feel very happy to be holdihng for the long term.
Now, in the interests of sanity - after 244 posts of moreorless unmitigated crap (except the odd gems from the usual few) - I'm going to filter myself, a sort of on-thread hari kari.
Aaaaaaagggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

andysmith, thanks for your post,I tend to agree that SEO will be big in the long term. One point - are we not all speculators to some degree?
Fortunately for me I hold shares in oil/gas exploration, media, banking and technology companies. A balanced portfolio I think, but all are speculation to varying degrees imo.

Paul - please stop telling lies - I have never been to this addicted to shares web site - but will go take a look now - if somone has signed up on there pretending to be me - then so be it - but I can assure you I do not post on there.
I only post on BBs that have the sense to allow both sides of the story - well moderated ones - like MoneyAM and a few others - if a site is not well moderated you will not find me posting there.

Anyway - back to the earlier question which nobody seems to be able to answer - were those Asda Salmon trials with RF Welded Cut To Open lids - if they were then you would expect an awkward welded Cut To Open lid to provide better sealing than standard consumer friendly peelable lid.
Did those Salmon packs have NEW on them in reference to NEW recipe or NEW in terms of Cut To Open lid - telling people to Cut them open and not peel the lids.
If these are true it calls into question the whole issue of those trials and their results - as from the RHPS report we see Howard White saying that the City "misunderstood" the RNSs about the USA engineers - have people misunderstood the trial results on Salmon ?????
The RNS simply states to the effect "factors associated with the Greenseal lidding" well a Cut To Open welded lid is to do with it - and also NEW on the pack or NEW instructions to Cut To Open is to do with it too - however - the simple statement and no real datum or info can lead to that statement being "misunderstood" like earlier statements.
Very concerning - if its true about the welded cut to open lid - and true about NEW being on the packing - it means future RNSs have to be checked to the finite detail as it appears "misunderstanding" is becoming common place for this loss making company.
Well worth looking into to see if its true or not - always DYOR.
