how low before bounce, all research says cable shouldnt be falling

DealerDaveT - 26 Feb 2004 11:35 - 549 of 11056

and euro which is supposed to be falling is edging up

hilary - 26 Feb 2004 11:47 - 550 of 11056

Sorry Guys, I don't mean to sound condescending, but why are you trying to long something which is falling? It broke the 2/3 day rising support line yesterday afternoon .... surely that was the cue to exit your longs and go short and stay in the position for the time being.

DealerDaveT - 26 Feb 2004 11:55 - 551 of 11056

hilary wheres best charts for forex

hilary - 26 Feb 2004 12:00 - 552 of 11056

Dealer Dave,

I use www.forex-markets.com. Click on "File" and then "Launch Duplicate Chart" which will open a full sized chart in a new window. You can then draw lines, change symbols, change timeframes, add indicators, etc.

Tellon - 26 Feb 2004 12:15 - 556 of 11056

Cable Going Down! IMHO

Sue 42 - 26 Feb 2004 13:34 - 557 of 11056

can i just clarify - when we talk about cable going down, do we mean dollar stregthening & /$ going lower ie below 1.86 now, or do we mean lower - the $ weakening & the /$ increasing? ie going above 1.87

Tellon - 26 Feb 2004 14:48 - 558 of 11056

Personally I meant, Spot Sterling/Dollar going down.

Sue 42 - 26 Feb 2004 17:05 - 559 of 11056

so you mean decreasing - ie going below 1.86, or 1.85?

hilary - 26 Feb 2004 17:17 - 560 of 11056

Sue,

Cable going down means weakening, $ strengthening.

Sue 42 - 27 Feb 2004 07:56 - 561 of 11056

thanks hilary that's what I thought.

wish i'd kept my short open!

dclinton - 27 Feb 2004 09:20 - 562 of 11056

Sue - we all wish we could trade the left-hand side of the chart :-)

hilary - 27 Feb 2004 09:23 - 563 of 11056

18550 coming under pressure. If that goes there should be a quick 100 pip drop till next support.

Beeblebrox - 27 Feb 2004 09:39 - 564 of 11056

nice call boss

hodgins - 27 Feb 2004 09:42 - 565 of 11056

We have almost half of that 100 pip fall

hilary - 27 Feb 2004 10:11 - 566 of 11056

Nearly there now although it's looking like it could carry on down. Might need a bit of patience though, as I expect there'll be a bit of support buying to give it a bounce to begin with.
