It is now time to switch to a new Money AM football blog as the world cup is now over and we all look to the future.....World cup 2010 is over, Bravo Espana, and Forlan, once again and bring on the new season !.....I never expected the last thread to be such a success...thanks all.... so this new one might go on for years without the need to edit the title...we shall see...
He didn't mean to break his leg he's not that type of player he's just shite. Can't believe I'm sticking up for a Jack b#stard !
And there is nothing wrong with the Welsh team besides the useless Jack b#stard manager we've got and his useless tactics. You can look back over the last two years and I have always said we qualified for the Euro's and did well at the Euro's despite him and not because of him.
You can't defend a manager who tells his team to kick shite out of the opposing team in the second half because they are incapable of beating them playing football. And then when the shit hits the fan try to defend a player who's actions would have caused a riot in a Sunday pub match. Bale should have walked before the Coleman ASSAULT so the Ref equally to blame for not nipping it in the bud. Gary Speed must be spinning in his grave Dilbert.
It's time that instead of strikers always getting the big news headlines that perhaps the midfield might get some attention.....that's where England are very.. very poor......have to say did not see the last game but saw a bit of the match against Germany....once again the long ball seems to be praised....now if opposing players are out of position : there is nothing wrong with the occasional big kick upfront to Vardy or Rashford but...this should not be the main way to play.....basically it's crap...but still we bang our heads on this ridiculous style of play.....when will we learn ?....sigh.......lack of intelligent training at grassroots level ......also the forwards must learn not to always hit the ball first time but to take subtle touches at times dragging the ball right or left before blasting it at goal....would make all the difference....
7 internationals at the last count and further club recognition with the announcement that Robbie Brady is to take over the captaincy of the Republic of Ireland team.
Burnley half way up the Premadona league as well..heady days being a Burnley fan these days.
