I hold CHP but I would also hold RIFT if I had any spare, so hold both.

robertalexander - 20 Mar 2007 14:16 - 557 of 934

have both but looking to top up, but which one[hence the coin] can buy more shares if i buy RIFT
Alex

driver - 20 Mar 2007 14:18 - 558 of 934

robertalexander
Split and top up both.

robertalexander - 20 Mar 2007 14:24 - 559 of 934

i would but 200 dont go that far with costs. i think RIFT is going to get it cos i get more shares for my money

CFE doing nicely today. fund raising offers existing shareholders 1 share for every 20 at 2.5p--people buying in to qualify. CE in for another 6million, chairman and finance director also adding. I'm happy.

moneyplus - 21 Mar 2007 13:39 - 563 of 934

I've just added to my sola holding. price has drifted towards results but imo this fund raising at 5.88p is reassuring as it has been taken up and the buyers could have bought at a much lower price in the market--also they are only charging 1% interest which is a bargain! I'm hoping this is for expansion plans well beyond our previous forecasts--the results are key---blue touch paper then I hope!!

driver - 21 Mar 2007 13:41 - 564 of 934

mp
When is the shut off date for qualification.

cynic - 21 Mar 2007 13:42 - 565 of 934

driver ..... now you see it; now you don't

But the chancellor also scrapped the 10p lower rate, which means most people are unlikely to be better off.

moneyplus - 21 Mar 2007 13:42 - 566 of 934

Just for a reckless flutter I've added some more SEO today in the hope some good news will come out soon! This is my tropical island hope now as pcm let me down! what's your island hope now driver ???

moneyplus - 21 Mar 2007 13:46 - 567 of 934

Driver the general opinion is that todays buyers will qualify but there is a debate on the other side because no cut off date has been announced-check it out it makes interesting reading and keeps you up to speed. I think the sp will gently rise towards the shareholder day on 28th.

See my post on cfe.

soul traders - 21 Mar 2007 14:46 - 569 of 934

MP, the point with the SOLA bonds is that they are paying only 1% to bondholders, which is probably okay by Chinese standards, but tends to imply that the real reward will be in converting the bonds to shares, which will probably happen quite soon as the SP is likely to hit 588 in fairly short order.

The bondholders are definitely not being charged 1% to hold the bonds.

I hope the SOLA results live up to expectations. Best of luck, etc.
