I would have voted for the war in Iraq and still would. The problem was not the war, but the lack of a post war plan. I didn't believe the WMD argument at the time.

Cameron is a far better public speaker than Miliband. Miliband gets slammed by the pundits after every speech. Even the left wing press attack his performances. His complete lack of charisma will be a disaster on TV.

So Haystack, if you didn't believe the WMD story then what justification have you for the war?

Millibandus nice guy? Ask his brother! Back stabbing barsteward would be polite as just one answer!

If Cameron succeeds, then there will be two buffoons on the stage and if you are watching, there will be three.

Fred2old and the other option is to have Miliband as PM and either Sturgeon or Salmond as deputy and Ed Balls, who can't even count up to three, as Chancellor.

I don't think there was a legal justification for that "War".

Hussain was a nasty B. so is Assad, as are many others.

But we don't go to war with them.

Justifications for wars are like excuses for forgetting your homework. No one with any sense believes them. Sadam needed to go. He would have had WMDs at a later date and it was opportune to stop him. Had the coalition not backed off at the end of the first Gulf war then it would have been tidied a lot better. The second Gulf war left a mess.

Based on Hay's opinion, I wonder if we could justify similar actions on Hays.

It certainly might be tidier without him!

Britain’s voters are determined that the pre-election leaders’ debates should go ahead – and would favour serious consequences for leaders who duck out of them.

That is the message of an ICM poll commissioned by the Guardian as part of its joint bid, with YouTube and the Telegraph, to stage one of the debates.

The research comes as the BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and Sky announced revised proposals for TV election debates and said they would “empty chair” party leaders who refused to take part.

A debate with 7, 8 ,9 or 10 (if the Irish parties are present) will be a farce. No one will remember who said what or who won. The SNP will argue with everyone. Any Irish parties will argue with each other. The Greens will try and upstage Labour. Farage will attack SNP, Labour and Conservatives. Labour will attack UKIP, Libs and Conservatives. Clegg will try and distance himself from the coalition and have no policies. Clegg is the biggest loser as he has missed his three handed grandstand chance.

It will be even better if Cameron doesn't turn up.

He's already won his debate on who should be invited to take part in the television circus.The whole issue has developed into an utter farce. Galloway is now threatening to sue if he is excluded.

Wont work, there's any number of ways of narrowing it down.

Cameron and Miliband?

For instance.

Tele peeps can say its only for national sized parties, ie, you must be fielding more than say 300 candidates, that gets rid of the small fry leaving the big orgs to fight it out....it also gets rid of wee-eck lol

There is going to be one Cameron / Miliband debate. The other ones will be a comedy program. Only worth watching for the amusement factor. I can't wait for Nicola Sturgeon to take Farage apart.

The TV companies have already agreed to the 7 way debate.
