If you're having any problems, or want to suggest some improvements, please post below!
Level2 changes
In the last few weeks we've needed to implement some code changes to make us compliant with the LSE's rules on the access of Level2 data.
The following requirement is now in place:
You can only use 1 program on 1 computer to access Level2 on MoneyAM using a single username.
This means that you are able to view as many Level2 windows using any one particular browser, or program, that you wish, however you will not be able to use both Firefox and Internet Explorer at the same time (the same goes for using Quote Tracker or TradeSeeker at the same time as viewing it using a web browser)
If you find you're being logged off of MoneyAM's Level2 with the message 'you've logged on from another location' then check the above and make sure you're not running any other programs at the same time before reporting this as a bug.

Digger,
I replied to your E mail - are both machines connected through a router? If so it could be that the firewall on the router is blocking this in someway. You may need to play around with the settings if this is the case,

Please can you tell me why my terminal charts don't refresh to today's prices till 8.15, without reiterating that they are ok at your end! Helen

Helen,
James is looking into tis from previous reports. I have just looked at a streaming and static terminal chart just after 8am and they are showing todays intraday information.

Not on my screen. they're not, so something must be wrong either at my end or yours. It is getting very frustrating. Didn't Richgit have the same problem? Was his sorted out? H

helen,
No Rich65 reported this issue - can you tell me what happens when you refresh the individual frames where you have charts set?

The search facility seems to have lost a Thread that I started some time ago Ian.
I'm looking for my "Onspeed" thread.

Stan,
Very strange, I can't seem to find it either - can you give me any more content I can search for (epic code etc.) and do you know when you posted it originally and to which board? (i.e. Investors of Traders)

When I refresh the individual frames, they just come up again with yesterday's chart, although the chart disappears as though it is going to refresh. Bang on 8.15 and they have refreshed with today's data!

Helen,
as I say, James is looking into this, and we will get to the bottom of it. I will take a look at your terminal set up and change my settings to match yours to see if I can reproduce it.

Ian,
Morning.
I have tried the Desktop Newsalert. It states "You may downloaded the latest version of NewsAlert. The current version is 1.0.35.0 (codename: Desktop Bullie-Whiplash".
The above downloaded and installed OK, but when I tried to run it the following message occured.
Application has generated an exception that could not be handled.
Process id=0x1228 (4648), Thread id=0x113c (4412).
Click Ok to terminate the application.
Click CANCELL to debug the application.
I have tried several times to re install, run etc, and also to de bug, to no avail.
Does Nesktop Newsalert, work with Vista (does the above programme conflict with Vista).
Help appreciated.

greekman,
I have successfully uninstalled and reinstalled it here - but I am using XP, I will speak to the tech guys to see if there is a possible conflict with Vista.

Ian,
1. Posted on Investors board.
2. Must have started over 2 years ago at a guess.
3. Can't remember If I put an epic code In or not.
4. Also I think someone else had already started an Onspeed thread as well.
The reason I want the thread Is that I am also having problems with Onspeed not starting....
seems a bit spooky -):

Ian,
Thanks. It may well be conflict with VISTA as I am aware of many VISTA customers who are having a variety of diff probs.
Thanks for getting back to me so quick.
Greek.

Stan,
We can't find a specific thread on Onspeed that you created, but I have noted that you have contributed to various broadband threads in the past, so I am wondering if maybe it was a posting you added instead. I will see if I can find something. By the way, onspead is part of Z Group which is quoted on the LSE.

Thanks Ian,
Didn't know they were quoted, after emailing them they have replied with a standard 48hrs
computer generated response which Is not much good as I can't get stockwatch to work without Onspeed switched on (nothing to do with java or MAM).
This Is the 1st time I have had this problem with Onspeed In around 4 years of use.
Oh well just have to wait and see.
