Please report bugs and enhancements (BUGS)

andy.lovell - 04 Nov 2002 11:26

If you're having any problems, or want to suggest some improvements, please post below!

Level2 changes
In the last few weeks we've needed to implement some code changes to make us compliant with the LSE's rules on the access of Level2 data.

The following requirement is now in place:
You can only use 1 program on 1 computer to access Level2 on MoneyAM using a single username.

This means that you are able to view as many Level2 windows using any one particular browser, or program, that you wish, however you will not be able to use both Firefox and Internet Explorer at the same time (the same goes for using Quote Tracker or TradeSeeker at the same time as viewing it using a web browser)

If you find you're being logged off of MoneyAM's Level2 with the message 'you've logged on from another location' then check the above and make sure you're not running any other programs at the same time before reporting this as a bug.

Just receive E-Mail from Ian.
It appears the problem re Desktop News alert and Vista, is the fault of conflict with Vista, so yet another fault on Vista to add to the many.
Just though I would post result on here in case others have a problem.
Also very impressed by the Bugs and Enhancement page response.
Thanks.

Could someone de-spike today's GSK chart? Thanks!

IanT(MoneyAM) - 16 Apr 2007 10:15 - 5651 of 7315

Peter,

Will take a look at it,

Ian

IanT(MoneyAM) - 16 Apr 2007 10:29 - 5652 of 7315

Peter,

We have taken the spike out from this morning, but please be aware that the chart will only start plotting from the time when the spike was removed at around 10.15am

Had a lot of problems gaining access over the last weekend. Logged in after some delay, then when selecting stockwatch or BB was asked to log in again. Went round in circles, home page log in, home page log in.

IanT(MoneyAM) - 16 Apr 2007 11:41 - 5654 of 7315

Socrate,

There was an issue over the weekend with login, which was resolved yesterday evening. Apologies for the inconvenience,

Ian

PeterG - 16 Apr 2007 11:47 - 5655 of 7315

Ian, thanks for de-spiking the GSK chart. But... I'm surprised you don't have a way of doing that without trashing all the subsequent data up to the time of repair. Come to think of it, I'm surprised you don't have a system that automatically alerts you to the problem in the first place. In fact, wouldn't it be even better if your systems automatically checked the incoming data to ensure that it's "reasonable"?

IanT(MoneyAM) - 16 Apr 2007 11:49 - 5656 of 7315

Peter,

Thanks for the feedback - the system does not usually 'trash' the data, this was due to an additional problem on that Chart. I will pass your other comments onto ou rtech guys,

Ian
