If you're having any problems, or want to suggest some improvements, please post below!
Level2 changes
In the last few weeks we've needed to implement some code changes to make us compliant with the LSE's rules on the access of Level2 data.
The following requirement is now in place:
You can only use 1 program on 1 computer to access Level2 on MoneyAM using a single username.
This means that you are able to view as many Level2 windows using any one particular browser, or program, that you wish, however you will not be able to use both Firefox and Internet Explorer at the same time (the same goes for using Quote Tracker or TradeSeeker at the same time as viewing it using a web browser)
If you find you're being logged off of MoneyAM's Level2 with the message 'you've logged on from another location' then check the above and make sure you're not running any other programs at the same time before reporting this as a bug.

Peter,
We have taken the spike out from this morning, but please be aware that the chart will only start plotting from the time when the spike was removed at around 10.15am

Had a lot of problems gaining access over the last weekend. Logged in after some delay, then when selecting stockwatch or BB was asked to log in again. Went round in circles, home page log in, home page log in.

Socrate,
There was an issue over the weekend with login, which was resolved yesterday evening. Apologies for the inconvenience,
Ian

Ian, thanks for de-spiking the GSK chart. But... I'm surprised you don't have a way of doing that without trashing all the subsequent data up to the time of repair. Come to think of it, I'm surprised you don't have a system that automatically alerts you to the problem in the first place. In fact, wouldn't it be even better if your systems automatically checked the incoming data to ensure that it's "reasonable"?

Peter,
Thanks for the feedback - the system does not usually 'trash' the data, this was due to an additional problem on that Chart. I will pass your other comments onto ou rtech guys,
Ian

Morning Ian,
Left my PC for about 50 mins from 0840 to 0935 hrs today. Had 2 tabs open, Level 2 and a Trade tab.
My L2 had updates continually, re SEO trades, but on the trade tab (separate page) the last trade showing was at 0844 hrs, although there had been many trades since as shown on the L2 page, IE trades not updating on trade page although had streaming on.

Ian,
Thanks. It's Stanelco (epic SEO). Have just tried it again, and it appears OK. Trades now keeping up to date. Probably just a glitch.

Help!!
When i try to access Stockwatch I am getting the message Java detected. JRE collision. I have re-installed Java, logged out and in again and restarted my browser. Still the same message.
Thanks,
Alan

Alan,
I am not sure what the cause is, but have you restarted your machine since the re install? If not try that.
If that does not work, it may be worthwhile uninstalling java from your machine and then re installing just the latest version.

Cracked it Ian. It was a conflict between an older Java and the new one.
Thanks,
Alan

I have been having problems with stockwatch for the last 2 days I am getting "load: class com.deltastream.applet.stock.StockApplet.class not found" in the Java console.
Yesterday I cleared the cache and that cured the problem but today it wont.
Any ideas? Java install seems fine and other Java apps are working.

Spaceman - since you have cleared the cache, could you try re booting and let me know if that makes any difference? Also can you see any other streaming page on MoneyAM such as the trades page, or do you get the same problem?

Thanks Ian, I checked trades and they are not working either, did a reboot no change. Might try a reinstall of Java.

Ian. This is embarrassing and I know there's a button for it that is staring me in the face but I'm damned if I can see it.
I'm trying to look at Shares mag this morning and notice that new header says Shares Digital and then what? I can't get into the mag.
