skyhigh - 14 Aug 2006 08:36 - 569 of 1049

This is getting grimmer by the hour! continuing it's downward path this morning.. something bad must have happened behind the scenes... We desperately need some good news and lots of it !

Rutherford - 14 Aug 2006 09:13 - 570 of 1049

Dont believe anything has happened and that is the problem. A lot of patience needed here!

skyhigh - 14 Aug 2006 09:35 - 571 of 1049

too right!

soul traders - 14 Aug 2006 11:35 - 572 of 1049

Paciencia, amigos. It takes weeks to get first oil out of the ground, not minutes.

georgetrio - 14 Aug 2006 13:05 - 573 of 1049

not only patience but deep breath if i may say soo. however, the future looks bright.

cynic - 14 Aug 2006 13:30 - 574 of 1049

so does Orange, or so they say

georgetrio - 15 Aug 2006 10:33 - 575 of 1049

CYNIC
that's right the future is orange, or it is black and roll for not saying BLR.
i like BLR but i am not sure about the management. anyone to help here?
i will not sell my holding because of the future of this little fish.

austing2253 - 15 Aug 2006 10:37 - 576 of 1049

Orange is the colour of 50 note, so I'm pleased to see the future's orange!

austing2253 - 15 Aug 2006 10:38 - 577 of 1049

Looks like it has bottomed out, we are now in the blue...

moneyman - 15 Aug 2006 11:40 - 578 of 1049

Can't help but to buy at these prices. Basically the same as what the institutional investors managed to pick them up at in the recent fund raising which...notably....was oversubscribed.

soul traders - 15 Aug 2006 11:59 - 579 of 1049

My thoughts precisely.

moneyman - 15 Aug 2006 12:48 - 580 of 1049

News over on AFN that Steamer will be out of customs and in the field in 10 days ;-)

georgetrio - 15 Aug 2006 14:30 - 581 of 1049

i think very soon, everyone would like to have a piece of this cake.
sometimes, it is easy to postpone the decision to buy till it is too late.
i learn from my mistake. I just add more shares. if this share remains in the blue as today for five days, i don't see why it would not hit 6p before coming down to 3p because this share has already been oversold recently. i mean serious crazy selling but now the only way is up. do you see the future orange?

austing2253 - 15 Aug 2006 16:31 - 582 of 1049

Yes, orange will do nicely...

explosive - 15 Aug 2006 21:03 - 583 of 1049

Thought I'd just check the BB's for any news, seams were all waiting on an update which is whats affecting the sp.... Patience is the name of the game, Oh well will look in again soon should no news be forthcoming. You could almost make a mint out of BLR just predicting when news might be released!!

moneyman - 16 Aug 2006 10:26 - 584 of 1049

I see another poster on AFN received an email from Ivan confirming what was said yesterday.....tick tock

soul traders - 16 Aug 2006 10:31 - 585 of 1049

Moneyman - good to hear that everything's going according to plan, not that I was worried.

As a general point for everyone's info, if you ever get the chance to watch a TV documentary about oil and gas production then please do so as it gives you an idea of the timescales involved due to the laborious nature of the work and the dangers, need for peripheral construction, etc. Don't forget that much hydrocarbon production is in remote areas, where things like roads, pipelines, processing plants and even entire villages for the workers need to be constructed in the middle of the jungle/desert/Arctic, etc. That's why it takes time!

moneyman - 16 Aug 2006 11:22 - 586 of 1049

It gets better

Spudding Monterey soon
