I know it is said that number of doctors and nurses have increase, but can we have the number of part-timers, agency staff and actual hours worked.

must get to the office, but inter alia and at the very least you need comparatives
i also think that the number of permitted work hours for junior doctors has also been decreased, which is no bad thing

sorry fred, but as i have said before, just throwing money at an institution, especially NHS, does not and will not even begin to solve the problem

i'm afraid the whole structure and indeed nature of NHS needs to be changed to meet today's demands and i can't see ANY gov'tr having either the ability let alone the will to do that

Also, the cut backs on "Welfare in the Community" are rebounding back on the NHS.

however, as far as i can see, NHS needs a complete rebuild .... i do not think that it can any longer work where there is free healthcare for all and on demand, but i cannot see ANY gov't being prepared to take up that line

as i'm an OAP, there's little if anything i need to pay for, though i choose to go privately for dentistry and annual PSA check, neither of which can be claimed on my health insurance ......

i almost never use my local surgery (NHS) except for providing them annually with my blood pressure spreadsheet (it's only marginally high anyway) and my flu jab, with which i wouldn't bother but Beloved insists that i do

the eu should be made tp pay billions to the worlds uk nhs because that is what it as become the locals suffer its time for action against the scum coming to the uk for free services

Two major things need to change in the hospital side of the NHS:

1. Free Food during the extent of your stay. This is ridiculous!

2. Bed blocking by patients with alzheimers, etc. who have nowhere else to go except to stay in their hospital bed. This cost needs to be transferred over to the social services side of things.

I could solve the problem put big lorries in Calais then allow the scum to get in the back lock the door when full then drive the other way back to Syria and drop them off that is what I would do
