ASOS: BUY AT LOW PRICE!!!! (ASC)

wilco99 - 12 Sep 2003 15:52

ASOS have dropped quite significantly in the past week for no particular reason and I view this as the perfect opportunity to invest as I can see them bouncing right back up to the 5.50p mark in the next 2-3 weeks. STRONG BUY!!

Liberum Capital today downgrades its investment rating on ASOS Plc (LON:ASC) to hold (from buy) and cut its price target to 2800p (from 8000p).

amazing how easily tomasz has always managed to switch between pidgin and complex english structure

Stan - 18 Dec 2018 10:22 - 5837 of 5941

Tomasz has it in his post above Alf, but as usual you fail (or more like are blind) to the relevant facts.

cynic - 18 Dec 2018 10:28 - 5838 of 5941

intrinsically nothing whatsoever to do with ASC

their counterpart in germany whose name i forget, is also suffering and indeed the whole euozone economy has pretty much ground to a halt

interesting that BOO still says loud and clear that it continues to perform well ..... hope their figures in due course bear this out

Stan - 18 Dec 2018 11:32 - 5839 of 5941

So you are right and most of the rest of the UK and virtually all of Europe are wrong are they?

HARRYCAT - 18 Dec 2018 13:12 - 5840 of 5941

Blimey Stan, season of goodwill and all that!
Looks like all markets are starting to turn down now, so hunker down and keep taking the divi's.

skinny - 18 Dec 2018 13:18 - 5841 of 5941

Directors Shareholding.

Stan - 18 Dec 2018 14:03 - 5842 of 5941

Harry, we are having a conversation on a message board. Not sure what seasons have got to do with that.

cynic - 19 Dec 2018 08:35 - 5843 of 5941

crashing yet again .... down a further 5% at 2475

very much yesterday's darling at the moment

Stan - 19 Dec 2018 08:38 - 5844 of 5941

The market continues to over react IMHO.

R88AVE - 19 Dec 2018 08:46 - 5845 of 5941

Last chance to short coverings worse bottom will be 2450 or thereabouts
Reckon yesterday rise to 2750 was a start of very slow recovery

cynic - 19 Dec 2018 08:56 - 5846 of 5941

no idea, but i reckon BOO is a better bet in that field

the trouble with profit warnings is that they have a nasty habit of coming in threes

iturama - 19 Dec 2018 09:05 - 5847 of 5941

If you lived in Burnley, you would probably have an attitude like Stan, Harry. Not much to feel happy about there. His real name is Ebenezer.
Commiserations to those that have been really hurt here. Not much cheer anywhere at the moment. But Buffett has said "Be fearful when others are greedy and greedy when others are fearful", so it looks like a buying opportunity provided you are prepared to wait. You can rarely catch the bottom, or top. Good luck guys, and dolls.

Unless you work in a circus then playing with falling knives will always be tricky.
