Pursuit Dynamics - A British success story in the making? (PDX)

Andy - 31 Aug 2003 11:58

Pursuit Dynamics plc is a UK based research and development company, which was founded in 2000 to develop and commercialise a revolutionary pumping and propulsion technology. Pursuit Dynamics (symbol: PDX) was listed on the Alternative Investment Market of the London Stock Exchange in May 2001.

The PDX Technology is a steam-based system that has applications in both pumping and marine propulsion. It is cheap to manufacture, extremely robust, contains no moving parts and is virtually impossible to block. Pursuit Dynamics owns 100% of the Intellectual Property Rights that surround the PDX Technology.

Pursuit Dynamics is now working towards the commercialisation of the technology it has developed.

Pursuit are rumoured to be close to closing their first deals, which may be in the food processing industry.

legend,

I suspect that the amount charged per unit thus far is rather modest, they need to gain credibility by allowing companies such as Coca Cola the chance to see the unit in service, and of course the advantages it offers in both reduction of processing time, and savings in energy costs.

I doubt that they will publish unit costs, as they may be in ongoing negotiations with several parties, and not want to compromise themselves by making public anything that may put themselves at a disadvantage with others.

legend,

I'm becoming a little concerned that the price is weakening again, and may take some off the table if PDX fall any further.

Possibly the shorters are still playing here, and without any significant news, the price looks vulnerable IMHO.

Cavman2

I refer back to my post 387 on 22 Dec about Bidtimes (BDT)... told you they would come good, well done if you bought. Up nearly 100% today. Sold earlier.

Everyone,

Although I am not a holder, it would be good to see some of you holders say what you think.

Eric,

Still hold tnd, easily 30p plus very soon I would think.

Thanks legend - nice move up this morning and now have a habit of rebounding from 184 ish rather than the previous 160 ish - I remain confident about this product and that the company have been working in the right direction setting up different sections etc. Imagine what would happen (world wide) if the "Fire fighting " appliance took off.

legend290782 - 11 Mar 2005 12:50 - 590 of 1003

Totally agree, massive prospects. Would be a good story if it took off. As always time will tell.

Have you seen that da. ??!! They are now 4.30 odd!!

legend290782 - 12 Mar 2005 09:40 - 592 of 1003

OA

If my sources are correct, 9 will be on the cards soon!!!!! They finished up 78 at 5.05!!! so quite a good day overall.

Rather than holding the stock, I have them on 25 per point!!! If it gets to 6-6.50 I think I will close out totally of the position. I took slight profits yesterday.... Wish I had kept my initial 10k amout bought at 1.40 odd.

Sorry to be a doom merchant.. you made a return, thats the main thing.

Have a look CLOSELY at AN. (Alternative Networks) - again like da. a recent floatation... think it could well follow a similar pattern.

As always time will tell.

Keep Smiling

Well confirmation that progress is being made.

RT to "step down" once a suitable replacement has been found, I wonder why?

Augurs well for a good 2006 IMHO.

Pursuit Dynamics sees 1st Sonic system sales soon
AFX

LONDON (AFX) - Pursuit Dynamics PLC said it expects to announce the first sales of the Sonic system shortly.

In a statement given at today's AGM, CEO John Heathcote said formal rollout of the Sonic 25, a fully integrated, skid-mounted system capable of processing liquid foods, is expected to take place in the United States later this year, probably in the autumn.

Chairman Ron Trenter also announced at today's AGM that he intends to step down from the board once a suitable replacement had been appointed.

Heathcote said the rollout of the Sonic 25 in January 2005 and the signing of distributors in Spain and France in February, in addition to existing UK distributors, have given the group the sales platform needed to impact the food processing market.

Following successful live fire trials in Sweden at the end of 2004, the group also said it is actively seeking to license its FireMist fire suppression system to a significant global partner during 2005 in order to access the fixed and mobile fire suppression markets.

In addition, the US Department of Defense's Naval Research Laboratory in Washington has invited the company to trial the FireMist system aboard ex-USS Shadwell in Mobile Bay, Alabama, this summer.

Heathcote said the company is also working to meet demand for staff. It is incorporating Pursuit Dynamics in Delaware. It is also in discussion with a number of distributors in the United States and expects to have a North American-wide sales, distribution and support system in place during 2005.

Not Jh but Ron Trenter Andy... I hope for investors sakes that promises will be delivered.

mikeran - 15 Mar 2005 15:36 - 595 of 1003

Well you may only get one shot at it, but to get the opportunity to demonstrate the Firemist to the US defense dept. is a big one if successful. Also and I quote " We have
also recently installed the first PDX evaluation circuit with a customer in the
United States."
Well as someone said on the other side just hoping that may be Coke US LOL

Andy - 15 Mar 2005 21:44 - 596 of 1003
