skinny - 08 Mar 2013 09:56 - 592 of 1559

Harry - just my take on it - as I said, call me cynical.

doodlebug4 - 08 Mar 2013 10:05 - 593 of 1559

Definitely something odd going on here in the background. Consensus seemed to be that the statement next week was going to be very positive. Market sentiment seems to have swung around again very quickly. Job cuts were not a surprise, that news had been coming for quite a few months and it was a necessary step. I'm sitting here scratching my head to be honest!

skinny - 08 Mar 2013 10:08 - 594 of 1559

Just attempted to trawl or should that be troll through the thread over the road - are some of these posters adults!

HARRYCAT - 08 Mar 2013 10:11 - 595 of 1559

iii is just as bad and I suspect that many of the posters are physically adults, but mentally...........

cynic - 08 Mar 2013 10:15 - 596 of 1559

i assume you mean ADVFN ..... several years ago i thought to join it, but having seen the incessant stream of abuse and other sundry garbage, i left after 20 minutes and have not been back since

Fred1new - 08 Mar 2013 10:20 - 597 of 1559

8-)

Where did I leave my high horse!

skinny - 08 Mar 2013 10:25 - 598 of 1559

I joined it at its inception, initially the BB's were useful and well balanced.

I joined here around inception in 2002, as the writing was already appearing on the proverbial wall.

There are still some balanced and informed threads, but it is quite astounding - not to say sad, how many idiots there are lurking - at least there aren't too many on here!

Fred1new - 08 Mar 2013 10:26 - 599 of 1559

Where did I leave my coat?

8-)

cynic - 08 Mar 2013 10:49 - 600 of 1559

with mahatma probably

doodlebug4 - 08 Mar 2013 10:50 - 601 of 1559

It's a bit worrying that some of these posters are actually on the loose walking the streets of this country. I really don't have a problem with someone who has a different view to mine on any share, as long as they can come up with a reasoned argument. Call me stubborn, but I still cannot see any reason - personally - to sell this share right now. I've been in since 22p, so I still have a nice profit - (not as nice as it was a couple of weeks ago) - and obviously if this keeps on a downward trend I do have a figure in my own mind where I will decide to sell.

Chris Carson - 08 Mar 2013 11:18 - 602 of 1559

FFS doodlebug stop whinging, has to go down to go back up, no share just goes into orbit forever. No good throwing your dolly out the pram just because those nasty traders are spoiling your party. :O)

doodlebug4 - 08 Mar 2013 11:38 - 603 of 1559

Chris, I think that is uncalled for. I was merely replying to some of the previous posts regarding some of the posters on another bulletin board. Hardly throwing my dolly out of the pram. "Nasty traders" you call them - if Ninja 19 is what you regard as a "nasty trader", I think he sounds as if he has serious mental health problems.

Chris Carson - 08 Mar 2013 12:08 - 604 of 1559

Sorry Doodlebug, wasn't aware. Some serious planks accross the road I agree.

doodlebug4 - 08 Mar 2013 12:55 - 605 of 1559

Hopefully they will all stay across the road. Some really good posters on that bulletin board, not just on the TCG thread, but sadly the abusers seem to be getting worse again. Meanwhile the TCG share price keeps getting hammered. I wonder what next week will bring.

skinny - 08 Mar 2013 13:47 - 606 of 1559

Bang on 50ma atm.

irlee57 - 08 Mar 2013 14:42 - 607 of 1559

what a roller coaster now at 75p

goldfinger - 08 Mar 2013 16:23 - 608 of 1559

Glad I flogged mine yesterday after skinny and cyners said they were out. Cheers mates.

That ninja bloke across the road is Robson for sure having a pop again at cockney rebel.

Im not ruling out getting back in here. Just got to time it right.

cynic - 08 Mar 2013 16:35 - 609 of 1559

the stock is either badly oversold on the back of profit-taking and/or computer-driven selling and/or forced closures ..... or failing that, some heavy inside trading by peeps who KNOW the numbers due on 13th are horrid ...... however, even if "horrid", sharp action has already been taken (shutting stores etc), and if not bad at all, then some prudent arse-kicking to get the company running properly and tautly

doodlebug4 - 08 Mar 2013 17:27 - 610 of 1559

cynic, I have to say that I'm not sure they are planning to close enough stores. I have 10 stores within 9 miles of my postcode and that is probably 5 too many.

cynic - 08 Mar 2013 17:44 - 611 of 1559

you sort of answer the point above and also those who may have taken fright at the news of store closure ...... of course, it may be that 5 of the stores near you will already have been targetted for closure
