If you're having any problems, or want to suggest some improvements, please post below!
Level2 changes
In the last few weeks we've needed to implement some code changes to make us compliant with the LSE's rules on the access of Level2 data.
The following requirement is now in place:
You can only use 1 program on 1 computer to access Level2 on MoneyAM using a single username.
This means that you are able to view as many Level2 windows using any one particular browser, or program, that you wish, however you will not be able to use both Firefox and Internet Explorer at the same time (the same goes for using Quote Tracker or TradeSeeker at the same time as viewing it using a web browser)
If you find you're being logged off of MoneyAM's Level2 with the message 'you've logged on from another location' then check the above and make sure you're not running any other programs at the same time before reporting this as a bug.

while things are quiet can i explain a problem i have been having. every day around 3.45pm i find my stockwatch failing to find the applet and the page showing only part of the stockwatch and stalled.
any ideas Ian
thought the compuer was overheating but have cleaned out the fan and heat sink and still getting the same problem
i also wondered at that time of the day if you are chucking off those not paying directly for stockwatch (i just get the mag)

p.s. logging in and out does not fix it , i have to turn off the machine

maddoctor,
I cannot think of any thing at this end which may be doing this, and as we monitor the front end view here as a user would see it (i.e. viewing stockwatch etc.), I have not personally seen anything like that here.
Possible causes could include some sort of firewall conflict, and it may also be wise to make sure you have the latest version of Java to see if this makes any difference.
If it happens for you today can you send me a screen shot of what you see when it happens please? (press the print screen button above your cursor keys and then paste into an E mail to ian@moneyam.com)

I am monitoring it here, and it is flashing away and up to time. It does point to something at your end but not sure what,

Mad,
I had the same problem when I updated to Vista (are you a Vista upgrade). McAfee conflicts with parts of Vista, and my stockwatch was suffering the same as yours. My son disabled MS firewall and put on the Windows one. I also think he tweaked something else, not sure.
I will get back to you probably tomorrow when I can contact him.

Mad,
Contacted my son. He can't remember what else he did, so if you are Vista/McAfee it may be worth disabling their firewall and putting on Windows own, to see if that cures it.
It worked for me.

greekman , thanks but running AVG and windows xp firewall and having tried everything am still no further forward. the real problem is i can run for hours ok and then suddenly down will go stockwatch - i am wondering if it is the BT broadband which is the problem.
