Please report bugs and enhancements (BUGS)

andy.lovell - 04 Nov 2002 11:26

If you're having any problems, or want to suggest some improvements, please post below!

Level2 changes
In the last few weeks we've needed to implement some code changes to make us compliant with the LSE's rules on the access of Level2 data.

The following requirement is now in place:
You can only use 1 program on 1 computer to access Level2 on MoneyAM using a single username.

This means that you are able to view as many Level2 windows using any one particular browser, or program, that you wish, however you will not be able to use both Firefox and Internet Explorer at the same time (the same goes for using Quote Tracker or TradeSeeker at the same time as viewing it using a web browser)

If you find you're being logged off of MoneyAM's Level2 with the message 'you've logged on from another location' then check the above and make sure you're not running any other programs at the same time before reporting this as a bug.

mad,

If it doesn't put anything in paste select edit at the top of your mail and select paste from there,

Ian

mad,

I am monitoring it here, and it is flashing away and up to time. It does point to something at your end but not sure what,

wish i knew as well cos its driving me mad , as ok all day until now

greekman - 03 Jul 2007 19:49 - 5948 of 7315

Mad,

I had the same problem when I updated to Vista (are you a Vista upgrade). McAfee conflicts with parts of Vista, and my stockwatch was suffering the same as yours. My son disabled MS firewall and put on the Windows one. I also think he tweaked something else, not sure.
I will get back to you probably tomorrow when I can contact him.

TW. Level 2 showing no orders.

greekman - 04 Jul 2007 08:45 - 5950 of 7315

Mad,

Contacted my son. He can't remember what else he did, so if you are Vista/McAfee it may be worth disabling their firewall and putting on Windows own, to see if that cures it.
It worked for me.

The Other Kevin - 04 Jul 2007 09:43 - 5951 of 7315

Still no orders showing. What's up?

IanT(MoneyAM) - 04 Jul 2007 09:50 - 5952 of 7315

TOK,

Please accept my apologies for this - it is a problem which is eminating from our suppliers - they are working on a fix and we hope to have this as resolved as soon as possible,

Ian

The Other Kevin - 04 Jul 2007 09:51 - 5953 of 7315

OK, thanks Ian

maddoctor - 04 Jul 2007 10:09 - 5954 of 7315

greekman , thanks but running AVG and windows xp firewall and having tried everything am still no further forward. the real problem is i can run for hours ok and then suddenly down will go stockwatch - i am wondering if it is the BT broadband which is the problem.

IanT(MoneyAM) - 05 Jul 2007 08:22 - 5955 of 7315

TOK,

This issue should now be resolved with new orders coming through from auction open at 7.50 this morning.

Ian

The Other Kevin - 05 Jul 2007 09:09 - 5956 of 7315

Ian - They are indeed, but not enough buys. I don't suppose you can fix that as well! Many thanks.

Bolshi - 05 Jul 2007 10:37 - 5957 of 7315

Minor issue but I've got the same problem as last week with Digital Edition of Shares mag.
Some companies not linked via Index to their write up. EG Arm, Emi

NB These companies have only 1 article in the issue so it's not the same as Bae, for example, which has 2 articles and you have to click on the page number instead of the company name.

IanT(MoneyAM) - 05 Jul 2007 10:38 - 5958 of 7315

Bolshi,

Apologies for that - we are looking into it now.

Ian,
I have MoneyAM on my browser favourites, as its .com version.
The last couple of days, when I click on it I go to the home page, and all the tabs are there but the central bit shows page not found! All tabs work so I can go round the site, and the home tab shows home page as normal.
Clicking the logo also shows page not found.
Not a great problem, or even a pain in the arse, just odd and I wondered if you were aware of it.
Alan

IanT(MoneyAM) - 06 Jul 2007 10:26 - 5960 of 7315

alan,

I have not seen anything similar here - does it doe the same if you just go to www.moneyam.com instead of through your favourites? You may also want to try clearing out your temp internet files and re booting after that to see if that helps. If not can you send me a screen shot of what you see - ian@moneyam.com

Thanks

Ian

hewittalan6 - 06 Jul 2007 10:36 - 5961 of 7315

Ian,
Does the same if I type the address in the browser and after I have emptied my temp files.
Will post you a screenshot, but don't lose sleep. Not really an issue!!
Alan

IanT(MoneyAM) - 06 Jul 2007 10:37 - 5962 of 7315

Thanks Alan, will take a look at it when I get the screen shot.
