Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

Good riddance to Labour in Scotland. At least it took the Conservatives two generations to decline, Labour have achieved it in six months! LOL!!!

i chuckle greatly at fred's cartoon of the long knives, but very clearly out for the wrong person
meanwhile, he'll gripe like crazy yet refuses to vote to change the status quo
fred - you've got the gov't you deserve
============
for myself, i hope the slim conservative (likely) majority will put a check on some of the more loony-right proposals that may be put out
i confess i'm puzzled that the conservatives have managed to increase their number of seats
just perhaps it's related as much to the promise of an eu referendum as a total rejection of labour's stance on same and their long record of economic incompetence

now lets the uk have a vote to allow Scotland to leave and let them go
we do not need them stop them selling power to the uk close all our businesses
close the border and put a charge on entering England of £100

i would certainly find it hard to vote against cutting family allowances for more than 2 children
unemployment benefit is a much more tricky issue, as very often there is a lack of jobs, especially for the youngsters and those who screwed up their schooling

A sad day.
It will be interesting to see what the effect the election of a polarised and fragmented UK will be.
I think many of the smiles will be transient.
