Thought I'd start a new thread as this is going to be a major talking point this year...have not made up my mind yet...(unlike bucksfizz)....but thinking of voting for an exit as Europe is not doing Britain any good at all it seems....

Well at least he follows up and admits it , as for many on some BBs they just carry on ignoring the obvious and because voted remain will not be moved preferring to belittle us sensible outers .

Not that his opinion matters much but what Ferguson is admitting now was blindingly obvious to more than half the electorate beforehand. Cameron's "concessions" were seen for what they were. Worthless spin.
The Euro benefits one country only - Germany. No wonder that Merkel is so determined to keep the mob together. The best thing for others in Euroland would be to force Germany back to the Deutschmark.

The Euro is the undoing of the EU !.....there is absolutely no need for it because transactions from one currency into another can be done instantly at the best rate of exchange of the day.......so what on earth have those countries done all signing up to a situation where cannot raise or drop interest rates or in fact do anything at all...ludicrous.....best for them to go back to the mark/franc/lira.......praise the Lord that we have the pound !....

The Barstewards working overtime to make it negative as possible ..........
UK envoy comments on EU trade deal were those of others -minister
LONDON, Dec 15 (Reuters) - Britain's envoy to the European Union was expressing the views of others when he said a post-Brexit trade deal with the bloc could take 10 years to reach, a junior minister in Britain's trade department said on Thursday.
Earlier the BBC reported that Ivan Rogers, Britain's ambassador to the EU, had told Prime Minister Theresa May's government that a post-Brexit trade deal with the bloc might take 10 years to finalise and could still fail.
Junior trade minister Mark Garnier said the ambassador had been relaying the opinions of "interlocutors".
"This does not necessarily define how long it will take to create a trade deal," he told parliament. "It is very, very difficult to be able to establish exactly how long any trade deal will take."

Do I see " Fred " in the push chair?
I did not like to be too negative towards you,
but went I see so many post vaguely reminiscent of dark ages,
I have reached one conclusion
dark thoughts = dark brains >>>>>>> time to change

Mentor,
Are you looking forward to a period of darkness in Europe?
Weather forecast isn't sunny!

Fred
are you talking about European business,
or Europe ( EEC - Common Market )?
re - darkness
I see more darkness on the future of EEC ( elections on the way on a few countries )
on the business side, there is a light at the end of the tunnel
How far the Brexit will go is still too early to predict
We are doing well on business here, so far better growth in the past and future than over there.

No Fred the daft ones were the ones that believed Cammy , Osbourne , Obama , Governer of BofE , Labour Party etc who said the world would end the week after an out vote.
Best bit for me was Osbourne losing his job and the faces at the EU parliament when Farage gave them his I told you so speech.
Roll on 2017 , roll on Brexit , roll on Corbyn being ousted and roll on Swansea being relegated.
Have a good one all.
