Israeli Gaza conflict?????? (GAZA)

Fred1new - 06 Jan 2009 19:21

Will this increase or decrease the likelihood of terrorist actions in America, Europe and the rest of the world?

If you were a member of a family murdered in this conflict, would you be seeking revenge?

Should Tzipi Livni and Ehud Olmert, be tried for war crimes if or when this conflict comes to an end?

What will the price of oil be in 4 weeks time?

Fred1new - 11 Sep 2012 16:43 - 5991 of 6906

OH, Stan

Come on.

Bush, Blair have brought peace and prosperity to Iraq.

Of course those WMD exist, they are now in Iran. Which should of course be bomb to destroy their nuclear weapons.

(Still wondering which way the winds blow.)

------------------

Mind, as I was assured at the commencement of this thread, the ME has nothing to do with World's present economic uncertainties.

ahoj - 12 Sep 2012 11:11 - 5992 of 6906

Iran is just talking like a baby who want to show his strength, power by talking too much rubbish. They want to show that they have done something to be proud of and, like a baby, stick to the plan (as they say peaceful nuclear activities).

Israel is taking their words seriously so may act. I think they are relying on unproven reports and making too much assumptions about Iran's activities.

Due to sanctions, Iranian currency has fallen to half over one month and it is a third of its value since eight months ago.

Fred1new - 15 Sep 2012 16:56 - 5993 of 6906

Ahoj,

Iran may be a political adolescent, but with the problems fermenting in the ME and America possible reviewing their international policies I think Israel will have to review its stance.

I can't see America or many in the "west" going to their rescue if they "bomb" Iraqi installations and Iran retaliates.

The Spring and the provocative film seems to be speeding up a review of American policies.

At last they may be realising there are wars that they can't win.

Fresh sh*t going down in Gaza, following 300 rockets having been launched by Hamas in the last 3 days.

Why, oh why, do they keep poking the tiger with a sharp stick?

Haystack - 14 Nov 2012 17:20 - 5995 of 6906

Because the tiger has taken their land, The stick is about to get sharper.

Stan - 14 Nov 2012 17:44 - 5996 of 6906

Can't see this mess being settled until as someone said on here once that Israel are relocated over the Atlantic to gun-nutter land.

Ruthbaby - 14 Nov 2012 17:53 - 5997 of 6906

Put all the Palestinians into the empty quarter in Saudi Arabia....

Haystack - 14 Nov 2012 17:59 - 5998 of 6906

Why not put them back where they came from - the country temporarily called Israel?

cynic - 14 Nov 2012 18:07 - 5999 of 6906

pillock brain's back i see

Haystack - 14 Nov 2012 18:09 - 6000 of 6906

Netenyahu has always escalated violence prior to elections. Election in January.

Ruthbaby - 14 Nov 2012 18:18 - 6001 of 6906

Also known as The Kingdom of Jordan...
How many countries do they need!!!!

Stan - 14 Nov 2012 18:27 - 6002 of 6906

There you are, plenty of states to choose from.

Haystack - 14 Nov 2012 18:30 - 6003 of 6906

Just the country that belongs to them - Palestine. Therockets that were fired hurt no one. Israel has already killed 9 including 2 girls under 5 and wouned 20. The figures are expected to rise. Israel will never stop the violence wile they continue to grab land and opress the Palestinians. All they have to look forward to is more violence,

Ruthbaby - 14 Nov 2012 18:35 - 6004 of 6906

The rockets that were fired hurt no one.
So Israel knows how to hit...Hamas don't.....another reason why they should give it up. Hamas have killed more of their own then Israel ever will...
Violence has always been away of life for Jews before Israel came back on the map.....

Haystack - 14 Nov 2012 18:41 - 6005 of 6906

The Palestinians are just resisting an occupier in a similar manner to the French resistance during the last war. The enemy is also very similar.

cynic - 14 Nov 2012 18:43 - 6006 of 6906

don't pander to him ruth; i promise you he's a waste of breath and space without an atom of logic let alone objectivity to be found between his ears

Haystack - 14 Nov 2012 18:49 - 6007 of 6906

It is not a question of objectivity. The land belongs to Palestinians. There is no evidence that the land ever belonged to anyone else no matter how far back you go. This is not a conflict that Israel can ever win by violence. They have to give something substantial to change the situation. I know Palestinians and they accept their people giving their lives for generations to come to regain their land. You cannot fight that level of commitment.

Ruthbaby - 14 Nov 2012 18:54 - 6008 of 6906

A typical statement in defense of terrorists...
That didn't take long...
Not well informed so...
Palestine (as you keep saying)originally included the British Mandate which included Jordan...
So today 77% of Palestine is in the hands of Palestinians... but that was never going to be enough now was it?

cynic - 14 Nov 2012 18:57 - 6009 of 6906

you'll be there for ever ruth, and when you walk away out of sheer boredom of talking to the profoundly deaf, he'll think he'll delude himself that he's won his point

Ruthbaby - 14 Nov 2012 19:04 - 6010 of 6906

Point taken cynic.
Thank you.....
