THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

It is doom for Labour. There will be changes that may stop Labour for a generation or more.

It will soon be English votes for English laws.

Next there will be the constituency boundary changes that the Libs blocked. That will cause Labour the biggest net loss of seats.

This election has wiped the smile off the cocky SNP leader (can't bring myself to say her name)

It has also wiped the smile off the union bosses who attempted to installed their pet PM.

TANKER - 08 May 2015 11:20 - 59916 of 81564

all good labour voters should boycott all Scottish products .
but to thick to see the wood for the trees
the snp destroyed the labour party not its leaders

Nicola scumbag the devil woman the evil . cost the lab millions of votes

they won the tory party the election fact , fact fact

cynic - 08 May 2015 11:21 - 59917 of 81564

spend all their time doing triathlons .....
so spend plenty of time looking after their business then

my family are not interested in politics and would never read about it ......
well shame on them and i'm amazed you haven't persuaded them that politics isn't just something hazy in the background, but actually affects their lives and that of others

Dil - 08 May 2015 11:22 - 59918 of 81564

Can't wait to see Cammie and his buddy Nicola standing hand in hand telling us to vote yes to the EU.

Haystack - 08 May 2015 11:26 - 59919 of 81564

My prediction was spot on for UKIP; just seat!

Only the racist bigots in Clacton voted for UKIP.

Dil - 08 May 2015 11:27 - 59920 of 81564

Why did GF get banned ?

I thought he was on holiday.

cynic - 08 May 2015 11:31 - 59921 of 81564

because he can be a total tosser and conducted a very stupid vendetta against doodlebug (mainly), in which process he was egged on .... they were subsequently both banned

GF really was a fool to himself and wouldn't listen to advice, but horses to water etc

=======

for myself, i still stay in touch with him on advfn, where there's a sensible but rather too quiet political thread that he instigated

TANKER - 08 May 2015 11:31 - 59922 of 81564

hay people like myself voted con not ukip to keep out the snp
do not talk shite. you simpleton

cynic - 08 May 2015 11:32 - 59923 of 81564

didn't do too well then did you!

mentor - 08 May 2015 11:33 - 59924 of 81564

Election results:

Conservatives
325 seats
needs one more for that 326 important point
After 641 of 650 seats

TANKER - 08 May 2015 11:34 - 59925 of 81564

cynic. Scotland we should now call their bluff and give them another vote as soon as pos. and hope they vote to leave

Haystack - 08 May 2015 11:34 - 59926 of 81564

The facts don't bear that out. All the Conservative gains come from lost Lib seats.

Dil - 08 May 2015 11:36 - 59927 of 81564

I agree Tanker but we should stop giving them the extra money they used to bribe them with immediately.

TANKER - 08 May 2015 11:36 - 59928 of 81564

a conservative mp as just said now we have a majority we do not need a eu vote and should avoid having one

Dil - 08 May 2015 11:37 - 59929 of 81564

Clegg the closet Tory falls on his sword , good riddance.

Haystack - 08 May 2015 11:37 - 59930 of 81564

Conservatives actually only need 323 for a majority because SF never take their seats in parliament.

In reality, it looks like the Tories will have a decent working majority.

cynic - 08 May 2015 11:38 - 59931 of 81564

mentor - i wonder if there's any advance on the 329 that has been predicted since about 07:00 .... anyway, all will be revealed by late this afternoon latest

2517GEORGE - 08 May 2015 11:38 - 59932 of 81564

I was in a very small minority of about 1 who predicted an overall majority for the Tories, and whilst I didn't put my ''skirt on it'' as Fred suggested, I've done very well thank you.

DIL - from my post 59890 .....
scotland is interesting
as was observed by someone on the box this morning .... if scotland want fiscal autonomy or something approaching that, then let them raise the money for all the SNP promises from scottish pockets .... that would assuredly concentrate a few minds!

Dil - 08 May 2015 11:43 - 59934 of 81564

Lol is Clegg thick or what ?

He just said its too early to say why they suffered such catastrophic losses .... its cos you sold your members out to the Tories last time round you numpty !
