How would you like to trade a market where you get large regular price swings every 10 minutes in the afternoon, seven days a week. A
market where all prices are set purely by supply and demand, few transaction costs, no middle men and you only pay commission if you win? Where you can freely act as a market maker and where you have direct market access and where you can create a spread for others to take?
Betfair has revolutionised the betting market and created an open platform for exchanging risk on sports events. This market is now viewed much more like a traditional financial risk market than an old fashioned betting market. Smart users have realised that there are huge opportunities on Betfair because they can buy and sell risk in much the same way they would in a normal financial market but without the burden of cost or the restricted access that is usually associated with traditional financial markets.

John, Did you have to pay her?
No positions yet. May wait till half time to get on ManU. Not too convinced with their attacking. Can't seem to get it together in the box.

Bak,
No she has 'kindly' stepped down to let me play. I wonder who is the boss sometimes.
Steve,
Good decision. Me too.

Will go back in just after half time if still nil nil - would expect the price to be nearer 1.8 than 1.6
I just couldnt back a side who dont have to win, away from home at 0-0 with 55 mins to go at 2/1 on even if they are playing a poor side with ten men

Just bought back my Man U lay, not sure what to do now. Man U haven't really looked like scoring in the first half.

Arsenal were 2.02 draw 3.6ish, Thun 4.2ish but Arsenal were trading at 1.93 for first 20 mins, price collapsed to 1.5 with the sending off

Steve, I would be guessing at approx 2.1+
I'm waiting for draw collapses. Plenty of draws around at the moment and hoping to be able to get on at least one later

"price collapsed to 1.5 with the sending off"
Aha, I can't work out the odds then. I can't do it if there is a sending off, I haven't completely worked that out yet.
This ManU match is dreadful, I am going to switch to something else.

the one worry i have is arsenal often fail to break down 10 men (though often do well with 10 themselves!)
