Libyan leader hails wider role for Islam

LIBYA'S top leader has declared the country officially ''liberated'' from the four-decade rule of Muammar Gaddafi, pledging to replace his dictatorship with a more democratic but more strictly Islamic system.
In a speech to a cheering, flag-waving crowd, Mustafa Abdel Jalil, head of the National Transitional Council, promised to ban interest on housing loans and scrap other laws that didn't conform to Islamic jurisprudence.

Fred1new - 25 Oct 2011 09:42 - 615 of 685

Justifying one killing by a previous killing seems a primitive suggestion.

========

Libya has problems, that is why I suggested the it would need a intervention military force on the ground. The war was easy, the peace is the difficulty.

I hope that sense may prevail and they proceed to a representative democracy, but the pathway may be difficult.

what now happens to the none muslims in libya .
are the muslims going to drive them out .
because they will not allow them to a church .
or am i wrong about muslim law.

Fred1new - 25 Oct 2011 09:48 - 617 of 685

I hope that Libya develops a secular state, but to evolve that, without any real present "institutions" and "civic" bodies, will be difficult and out of necessity the country "may" fall back on the religious organisations which it has in order to fill the vacuum.

TANKER - 25 Oct 2011 09:51 - 618 of 685

fred . no the man that killed him the way he did is primitive .
and with him still alive says they are all still primitive .
it was a disgusting human act and must be acted on.

aldwickk - 25 Oct 2011 09:57 - 619 of 685

Fred wrote, " it would need a intervention military force on the ground "

So are you advocating British troop's going into Libya ?

TANKER - 25 Oct 2011 10:01 - 620 of 685

offf subject why are people no matter what colour they are black yellow brown .
always use the racist card are they ashamed of what they where born .
and why can a white person who in real life not white but a funny pink can not use the racist card we are the colour we are and i am not bothered about colour .
this has just come to me watching the football news .
people that do use the race card are ashamed of there selves .

Fred1new - 25 Oct 2011 10:07 - 621 of 685

T,

Is hanging less any less primitive?

Or what other methods of termination would you suggest?

======

I see the stalker is out of his bunker.

aldwickk - 25 Oct 2011 10:09 - 622 of 685

I see Fred hasn't answered the question again.

Fred1new - 25 Oct 2011 10:16 - 624 of 685

Aids,

You constructed the question and intimated that is what I was suggesting.

In that once again you seem to believe that you have mind reading ability, then it is more appropriate to construct my answer for yourself.

It is more likely to correspond to your internal reality or needs.

mnamreh - 25 Oct 2011 10:17 - 625 of 685

TANKER - 25 Oct 2011 10:18 - 626 of 685
